This wonderful family-run business has been in this location on Davie Street for 28 years now. Longevity like that isn't an easy achievement in this world of skyrocketing rents and fickle customers, but Abasa's exceptional service, products and knowledge have obviously stood them in good stead. I hope they prosper for many years to come. When my eyeglasses broke recently I thought about where to go to see if they could be repaired or what my options might be. I live in Kits where there are many optical supply shops, but I remembered my great experience over 20 years ago buying glasses from Abasa. So I took myself downtown for a revisit and I am so glad I did! I decided to replace the old glasses with new ones, and booked an appt. with Dr. Modi, the onsite optometrist. He was friendly and accommodating, like everyone at Abasa, and my eye exam was smooth and stress free. Abasa has a wonderful selection of frames, from very traditional to bright and trendy. I found a pair absolutely perfect for me, and very happily picked up my new specs a week later. And the price was far less than I anticipated, which made this experience even more special and memorable. I am incredibly grateful I made the effort to return to Abasa, where I will continue to go for any eyewear needs. I have already recommended them to family and friends. I truly doubt you could do better anywhere in Vancouver. If you need eyewear, contacts, sunglasses, accessories or an eye exam, Abasa is the place to go! Highly recommended! Dr. Singh is my go-to for all eye-related needs. He is immensely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I'm a really curious person and tend to ask all kinds of questions at my appointments. Dr. Singh is incredibly patient and always takes the time to explain things to me. The staff working at this location are also extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. I've recommended this place to all of my friends because they make getting an eye exam a pleasant experience. Try them out and see for yourself!

Bought a great pair of glasses at Eyes On Twelfth that I spotted before or after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. Couldn't find anything like them in Toronto. Service was great and the store attractive. Vancouver has so many of these great shops that keep me coming back.

Located on Broadway near Fir Street this business has an excellent selection of frames,sunglasses,contact lenses and accessories such as lens cloths and bottled lens cleaner to choose from,the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the service is impeccable 👍🏻👍🏻i've been a client for many years i would highly recommend this place it's 5🌟

Staff are very friendly and helpful, not pushy at all. The store has a wide selection of frames and brands to choose from. I bought my last two pair of glasses here and my sunnies and they won't be my last!

Does anyone know how to reach Dr. Tong, or where he has relocated? The Pearle location he was at on W. Broadway has closed for business and the voice mail still says Aaxis will reopen in January, but as of the end of this month there has been no updates and the email is not working =( 6/21/2018 - Dr. Russell Tong has moved his practice to 2827 Arbutus St, Vancouver, BC V6J 0E6, next to Bullock's The Eye Opener, and have been there for at least 2 years now. I was told by others the reason Dr. Tong was AWOL is because PearleVision had shut down almost all their stores with little notice, leaving Dr. Tong and the rest of us out in the cold. Hopefully this new location won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Frame broken when they tried to help and replaced new frame. and re used the lenses and save my mom $$$$ few hundred dollars. Because it was progressive lenses. Sam... Great Job!!!! you guys .....believe it or not check him out .....
