STRONGLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANOTHER COMPANY! HONESTLY YOU’RE BETTER OF FINDING AN AVERAGE JOE OFF CRAIGSLIST. IF IT WAS POSSIBLE TO GIVE LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD HAVE.

They were very timely with their work, and when they found a problem with the side walk they repaired it at cost. Also, they were very responsive by email. Overall great experience .

I was very happy with the paving of my driveway by Dan. Looks excellent. Did a great job on the prep work. This is the second time I have had Dan do work for me. Very pleased both times.

Absolutely awful service, the boss is one of the rudest people ive ever came across, got labourers with no experience to do the whole job while he critisised and did nothing, after speaking to them found that he goes through labourers every week due to 12 hour days of treating them like dogs and paying them $100 dollars a day, DEFINITELY SPREAD THE WORD! TERRIBLE JOB

I am very pleased with the quality of my newly paved driveway. I have a common driveway with a neighbor that gets a lot of use. John recommended milling in Portland cement to create a solid base, something that none of the other bidders mentioned. It made sense to me to start a strong base first. A few days after the process my old, overused gravel driveway was hard as concrete. Then John's paving crew showed up and put down a smooth layer of asphalt without a single roller mark. The price was competitive too.

Update- 3-15-2018 - I am changing my rating from a one star to a four star. I received a phone call from the owner, Charlie Hickes, and he apologized for the misunderstanding and the communications I had with the gentleman prior to his call. He gave me an estimate for the repair and I am not able to settle my account with the roofer. I am also on the books for when the weather finally warms up to have Hicks Paving repair my driveway. Like I had said in my original review they did a great job on my driveway. I am happy they are repairing it for me. I trust their work. 3-9-18 I don't normally do this but I am very frustrated with the customer service that I have had recently and I need to share with everyone on my experienced. I was hoping and giving Hicks Paving the opportunity to fix the driveway the roofers had damaged (however now telling me they didnt) they installed last June for me. Today I made yet another call to them, makes 5 in the last 4 weeks, to just give me an estimate on the repair. I know the work cannot be done until warmer weather. That is why I'm only looking for an estimate on what it will cost for it to be repaired. This call I finally got to talk to someone beyond the receptionist who happens to be the owner's wife. Spoke with the owner and he informed me that hicks Paving is closed until April. That they do not answer calls or work until then. I questioned him on answering the phone the last five times he informed me it was his home phone number. However every time I call the receptionist answers Hicks Paving. So I'm not sure if they are closed why they are still answering the phone and why it is such a big effort for them to just come out and give me an estimate on the repairs. He informed me of the blizzards that we have had these past couple days I responded that I have informed him with phone calls for the last 4 weeks many of those days reaching 50 to 60 degrees Plus. I am now going to call a paver that is actually interested in doing business with me. Do the fact that my driveway is less than a year old it is under contract warranty yet he does not seem to feel that that is a concern of his. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I am receiving from him especially since after getting my driveway done I recommend them to others. So I have to say buyer beware when dealing with Hicks

The gentleman I spoke with, Nichols Godfrey, was rude and short when I called for an estimate. He end the conversation with “your not presenting yourself the right way to me” and hung up the phone. The experience was so bad that I felt the need to let everyone know. As a business owner Nichols you need to improve on your customer service and know that everyone is equal and a potential client. I hope you’ll have more patience in you future endeavors.
