Smaller bedroom community south of Edmonton. Clean and there is revitalization occurring along the main highway through town with new buildings replacing some old tired ones.

They don't let you return opened dog food. Everywhere else I have shopped in Calgary - Pet Planet, Global Pet foods, Pawsitively Natural, even Pet Smart - all accept food back if your dog doesn’t like it so they can make sure to find something that works for you, and they donate the other food to a shelter. For that reason I will only shop at Tailblazers if I am purchasing something that my dog 100% guaranteed will use/eat.

Every time we go to Global Pet on 85th in Calgary seeking advice on dog stuff, I always hope that Al will be there to help. He is awesome! But even when he is not there, his staff is knowledgable and super helpful so I always feel like we are getting great advice and service. It may not be the cheapest place in town but I am willing to pay a bit extra to get the service they provide. Thanks to Al and his staff for their help with our dogs!

Got my dog groomed here and it's the best she has ever looked . I will definitely be coming back.

This has taken me forever but I just wanted to make sure this was known to everyone. My fiancee was out of town and I realized last minute that my dogs had no food - I know bad mom. The bag of dog food was huge and the girls at the store offered to deliver to dog food to me. I mean look at that.. this is going above and beyond for their customers in need. I cannot thank them enough for saving me that time and they will be my preferred pet store for life! Thanks ladies and again I am so sorry it took so long to do this!

Krista is amazing! I have yet to use her pet care services however I plan to soon! I was, however, a student in one of her pet first aid courses and let me tell you, she knows her stuff. It was so great learning first aid, getting pet advice and touching base with someone who loves animals as much as I do.

Lisa is a kind person who loves her job. And it shows. She is great with our dog. And the dog always looks great after Lisa is finished. She's a very busy lady. That just means she's good at what she does.

Small but has the main things you would need in a pinch

This is my go to place for all my pet supplies. The staff have been very helpful and they have a great selection of products. I found a slip lead that was $15.00 cheaper at this Pet Value than at their competitors... a significant difference. Great place for all your pet needs!

DeeDee was an excellent host to our two big pups. She was warm and welcoming and had a great set up for the dogs, with a doggie door for them to come and go as they needed from the home into her yard. She texted me throughout the stay and kept me updated so I felt very comfortable. They came home happy and relaxed, with none of the stress of being in a noisy boarding kennel facility. We would recommend DeeDee to anyone looking for a loving place for their dog to take a vacay!

Best kennel ever, both Charlie and Mikey love going. They come back played out. Definately recommend!!
