We took our mini poodle George to Paradise Puppies Boarding Kennels in Powell River for the day while we did some sightseeing. The facility on Claridge Road is very clean and the dogs are grouped according to their size and temperament. George had a great time playing with the other small dogs. Owner Al is very kind and showed us the overnight boarding facility while we filled out the paperwork for George's daycare stay. The overnight boarding facility is the cleanest I have ever seen. I would not hesitate to entrust George to their care for daycare, or for an overnight stay. Thanks again for taking great care of George.

I worked for this company and it was a terrible experience. The upper management does not care about employees or customers. They engage in shady and illegal business practices. They operate their stores without business licences. They do not pay their rent or bills for their stores. Their VP of BC stores ignore serious issues and lie to employees faces. Their Powell River store was seized by the government and their Port Alberni store was closed due to their rent not being paid. Avoid this company at all costs.

Really helpful with all my aquarium questions. Got me back up and running after 10 years out, fixed my water pump, no charge. Best fish in town. Wife loves the dog groomer, Dawn, too.

Good selection, helpful staff ,but a little expensive ,found some items at stores that aren't even pet stores for considerably less.
