I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with this store. I don't like pet shops. I'm programmed to not like them. Kittens in cages, puppies with big sad eyes... no way, man. I avoid them like cancer. I'm apt to adopt the entire store and be in debt for the rest of my life. We went down to PA from Creighton because my kid talked me into getting a snake. (There's a story behind that, but it boils down to me being a sucker.) I'd called ahead and gotten someone experienced that filled me in on exactly what they carried and what they had in stock, and what I could expect to see after making the four hour drive. After getting there it turned out she'd been precisely correct. I can't stress enough how very awesome that was. Pam helped us. Pam was awesome. Pam knew everything about reptiles, and while I thought I'd familiarized myself with the basics, I was quickly proven ignorant. Pam was awesome. Pay Pam more. Take what Pam makes and make it much more. In closing, I spent a ton of money getting this snake, yet came away with exactly what I wanted and couldn't be more pleased about the purchase. Thanks Pam, thanks Petland, and thanks for making corn snakes and the various associated requirements available to those of us in the frozen north.

Tiny senior chi- Uneven, jagged nails and she still has tiny matts still on her legs. Had to bring her home and wash her as that was not done. Will not be returning. I was trying to ask questions but he was too busy on phone.

Would not recommend this school at all. Over priced and you do not get the hands training needed .You are expected to learn on your own. There are only 2 instructors for group classes of 6 max.Not only do they have to do their full days of grooming but are also expected to try and help the students. They are not bad instructors but are not on the same page. One will tell you one thing and the other will tell you its wrong. Very confusing at the end of the day. They do NOT have any understanding of how to teach a student that has difficulties learning and do not know how to explain/teach in more ways than one and end up doing the work for you. You spend more time working for free for them bathing and brushing dogs,especially for other groomers. Practicum tests. More often than not the students have never done one of the grooms before their practicum because of lack of training.They tell you its a failproof course but its not. They tell you at the end you are a certified groomer. You are not. Only through them. Do not be deceived. This course may teach you the basics of grooming and show you the tools necessary for grooming but at the end of the day it is overpriced for what you do not receive.

Great people who care about dogs, with a lot of knowledge. It's maybe a little cliche, but it doesn't look like much form the outside, but when you get in the door there is lots of room, with not only a gym for the dogs to work in, but also a seating area for family members to watch, helps the whole family take part in the process. Highly recommended for your training needs.
