Private Schools

I am a teacher who has taught in DeSoto ISD for 12 years. I am proud of the high standard and integrity of those in administration and throughout the faculty and staff. Some of my very best friends work with me in this school district. The district is not perfect in every single category, and that is ok. There is a plan, a clear mission, a goal and the trend arrows are moving in the appropriate direction. This district certainly shines bright.

My daughter has thrived at FCA! She is educated in a Christian, loving environment with a rigorous academic curriculum. We are beyond excited with her experience so far.

My son used to cry and plead not to leave him. There's just something shady about the place. On my son's last day I noticed a little girl using the restroom unattended with the door wide open and two boys standed outside looking. I looked around to see if there was an adult in sight, but there was none, I had to close to door. Yea this place is cheap but is it worth it..Nope!!

This school is amazing I'm a student who actually goes there and it gives you a great learning experience

School district does not know what they are doing, dubiski tech school principal is buddy buddy with superintendent, they fired 20+ teachers at Dubiski this past May-July without valid reason or proof and lots of harassment giving teachers little or no time to search for another job miles away. Seriously, do your research and ask other teachers before you work for them and have to deal with that much BS. They are probably hiring at lower wage so the superintendent could pay of the mansion from city tax money, look that up it was on the news and nothing was done.

My son loved it here. I loved taking him here. The staff and teachers are wonderful! I highly recommend this place.

I attended 1st through 3rd grades here when there were two buildings and a little church on the property. 1958-61 My firstborn was baptized here in 1976. Father was Monsignor Burns and my favorite teacher was named Sister Theresa. Those were the days of love.

Preschool is great

Every single person working in this school is always very kind and friendly. They are 110% dedicated to the kids' education and will keep you updated daily about how they did in class. They will teach them manners and how to do some shores so they can help us around the house, which I think is great. My 4 year old daughter says her school is so fun, and she LOVES her teacher Mrs. Kyser.

Today I volunteered at the school and I did not like it. This is a school with students with disabilities. Here is a story... At lunch, a girl had 2 already made bought peanut butter and jelly sandwich opened and an apple sauce cup. After she was done, she put the cover of the apple sauce which is like a foil like thing and put it in her mouth. My friend and I told her to take it out. And so she did. A teacher caught her doing it and then another teacher came over , threw away the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches telling her she would get a signature and would not go to recess. At least wrap the sandwich up and save it for later. From a teacher at this kind of school, you would expect them to wrap it up, instead she wasted good food and money. At this kind of school, teachers need the patience to deal with them.

We have all our children (3) attending CPM at or before they are 2 years old. Could not have asked for better results. Since CPM is an AMI accredited school, they are sticklers to the Montessori way so we see our children's development and growth every single day. The teachers and staffs are caring, attentive, engaging, yet firm, which we like. With the CPM years serve as the foundation, our two older boys (11 and 8) boys are now thriving in public school, especially with their QUEST and PACE classes. And already we are seeing huge changes to our 2.5 year-old daughter, whose becoming more and more independent each week. We highly recommend this school.
