Do your own research about Cape Henry Collegiate. There is a complete list of teachers on their web site. When you check if Cape Henry teachers are approved to teach buy Virginia Education Board (published online) you will be surprised to find only one or two teachers have met VA government requirements to tech. But, they may be good people.

By far the best school in history. If you are interested in your child's future and care to invest in your child and even if not, I recommend that you find a way to put your child in this school. By far the best staff ever, Best teachers ever. They teach your child even as a baby or toddler, Your child gets report cards. I can't stress to you enough how amazing this place is for your child. My daughter is very advanced for her age and that has a lot to do with the nurturing care, time and effort put into her from the teachers and staff at Beach Montessori. I know it sounds like I am being paid to say this, but trust me and try it, you won't be disappointed.

This is my daughter's second year at Rollingwood. As parents, it has everything that you want for your child and provides them with every tool they need to succeed in school. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, Rollingwood is the perfect combination of nurturing and yet academically challenging. We highly recommend Rollingwood.

We enrolled our daughter at The Goddard School Lynnhaven a little over a year ago to help her gain some social skills with kids her age before kindergarten. And let me just say that our experience went so much beyond that!! We absolutely love it here and so does our daughter. It is so refreshing to find such a friendly and welcoming staff that always greet you with a smile. Every teacher my daughter had the pleasure of working with was just amazing. So patient and kind and loving. The daily activity reports and pictures we receive everyday are awesome! I could go on and on.. If you're looking for a preschool for your child this is the place you want to be!!

I live in a neighborhood where several children go to this Goddard School. I have to tell you that I have heard such amazing things about this school that I wish I still had children at home! The activities I hear that the teachers do with the children and the care and concern that all the parents rave about makes me a believer! Plus I sub at a couple of the elementary schools near to it and even the teachers of the elementary school talk about how glad they are to have this Goddard School's students in their classes. It must be a fantastic place!

I noticed a couple of things in the reviews that need to be addressed: 1. If you have issues of grave concern, which it seems some do, please post using a legitimate account. We aren't reviewing the service at Red Robin for Pete's sake! We are talking about the education of our children. If there are issues that could possibly affect my child: I would like to speak with you personally yet have no way to contact you. 2. The negative review posters who trash the school, but are incapable of using proper grammar..? You, and your children, have not taken education seriously. Which would explain why your children had a difficult time at a private school. 3. To equate a routine "unvitation" for your children to attend the following school year to the Catholic cover-up of child molestation...? This far-fetched correlation only proves you either received a very low score on the SATs, or you are Googling "what is SAT" right now. Either way, if you are that unhappy with the decision they made you have the right to take your issue to the diocese. The process is listed in the manual which you either didn't, or couldn't, read. 4. If you express your dissatisfaction for your children's education on a Google review -- you have underlying issues that lead to your children's failure. STOP BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE! Get off of your device and take your child to the library or a museum without texting on your cellphone. YOU are your child's teacher ALWAYS! Until you acknowledge where you have failed, you cannot be upset when your child fails. And they will keep blaming everyone else for their problems just like you do. I would like to thank the reviewer whose name I cannot pronounce (but I could still email since they used a legitimate account) for providing an indepth review based on a star-scale providing knowledge and facts. Your children will succeed wherever they are because you succeed at parenting.

Our daughter has attended CMS for 2 years (toddler and pre-primary grades) and we are so pleased with the experience. Her days are well rounded between academia, life skills, social learning, play - both active and stationary, and rest. She receives a lot of personal attention, but not to the detriment of the other children. We are looking forward to the next several years with CMS. I would recommend them to anyone searching for an early learning environment.

My daughter loves her preschool class here with Mrs. May. She comes home happy and with new insights. They send art home and my child is always teaching me songs and games she has been taught at school. Every person I have contacted on staff has been friendly and helpful. This is a great place for a little learner.

I absolutely LOVE Boxwood Montessori. The teachers are wonderful and caring. They embrace the montessori method which has been ideal for both of my children. The ratio of children to teachers is very low which allows for a lot of personal attention. Mrs. Coffin, the owner and director of the school which has been open for 40+ years, while strict and firm, is really very caring and takes pride in teaching the children the life skills that they need. She has high expectations of both the children and the parents which we all strive to achieve. I am so happy with my experience and my children come home each day thrilled to show and tell me all about what they learned that day.
