De Paul is a great school if your child has a learning disability or not. They evaluate each student and their education is based on individual needs. Plus all learning is done in school so there is only a small amount of homework.

Great school

My parents sent me to this school after failing most of my subjects in 7th grade. I was so upset... what could a small school with little to no sports programs offer me? Over 20 years later, I can honestly say that the two years spent there were the best years of my life. I was given a foundation that the rest of my life was built on. I made friends for life, and yes, my grades improved. Let's face it, anybody can come on the internet and talk up something that really doesn't live up to the hype. TALK IS CHEAP! I put my money where my mouth is: I'm sending my children to this school. I am not a Lutheran, but I cannot think of a better school for my kids. Some of the same teachers are still there, and I can guarantee they're not there for the salary they receive. They care about their students, and it shows! Since my school days, their sports programs have gone through the roof... which my children are very happy about. Don't hesitate to look at this school, it'll be one of the best decisions you can make for your child(ren).

Our daughter has thrived at Nysmith over the last 4 years. After struggling to find a school that was a good fit for her, we are thankful that we made the investment in Nysmith; she has made tremendous strides academically.

It is amazing it has a huge cafeteria with a lot of food options, it has fun entertaining classes, and it has incredible teachers along with it.

Dwight is a wonderful school with international diversity and a vibrant community. We relocated to NYC from Asia five years ago and have never regretted the choice of school for our children who are currently in grade 1 and grade 5 at Dwight. The teachers are dedicated and passionate and the IB program enables students to be exited about learning. My 11 year old just returned from a one week school trip to London, and can not wait to explore the rest of the world. Well Done Dwight!
