I Think this is the best school ever everyone is so nice.

In our 3rd year at Heritage & now our daughter is in Kindergarten & I can say that my daughter & I feel as though we are a part of a larger family here. I also work @ HCS & seeing my daughter walk confidently to school at 5yrs old makes me so joyful because I know the staff from the janitor up are praying for her & the teachers do so much more than teach! they love as Christ loves us & it shows through everything they do in the classroom in a genuine way. we are blessed by this place as a student & as an employee . I am equally impressed w/the academic standards for our daughter as well as the spiritual aspect. Heritage feels like home to us.

Love this school. They really care about the students. Every school is not for everyone. Academics are important and Viz strives to have girls be well rounded. Faculty and staff care about student and look out for them. I have worked here for 18+years and still love it.

Nursery and K are excellent. Teachers are highly experienced and skilled. They provide a truly wonderful education for young children. In grades 1-8, the teachers are inexperienced. First grade teacher is a nearly always a new hire with no experience, which affects the education of every student and creates a very poor foundation as they move through the grades. Essentially, you pay $20,000 for your child to be a "guinea pig" for a brand-new teacher, usually someone who likes the Waldorf philosophy but brings little else to the table. In addition, while Waldorf approach is very appealing in many ways, it has real drawbacks. For example, the teacher instructs the class as a whole throughout the day, meaning all the students have to go at same pace with no way to meet the needs of individuals. Even older staff who should be well qualified simply are not. The person leading educational support services, for example, completely lacks background for the job.

My story with Sparhawk School began three years ago as a parent at the school, with my son entering Kindergarten. I continue my journey with the school now as an employee as well. I consider myself blessed to have found such a safe, accepting and loving community to both raise my son in and to support myself. We have good humans, with like minds all looking for a better education option. I'm very thankful to have Sparhawk in my life.

The Pike School has been an excellent choice for our family. Our children are both very different learners and Pike has the ability though their amazing teachers to cater to the specific learning styles of each student which allows for success beyond the norm. Our children enjoy going to school because they are challenged and have a great community of friends.

Incredible school. Amazingly inspiring teachers, can easily name a few. Warm and amazing families overall. Strong academics and core values for life. Great interactions within the community including the teachers. The character building is so emphasized and this cannot not be measured by test scores. We truly wish we came here earlier.

In terms of boarding schools in CT, Cheshire Academy has been a very rewarding work experience. The faculty, staff and students have all created an amazing community here on campus. Whether development and alumni relations, admissions or athletics, I can honestly say it's been a joy and pleasure to work with everyone.
