Best School Ever!

Great school for girls, although the tution is quite expensive.

My daughter attended MBCI for Grades 6 through 12 and graduated in 2019. She loved it. Not every day, and not always in the moment, but perspective is a great thing. She was involved in sports (almost all of them), she loved the days of community involvement, the retreats and the school spirit days - but she also loved the academics. This wasn't always about the classes she took, but the teachers that taught those classes. She felt that her teachers were invested in her being the best she could be, gave extra time, help and care. The goal was ensuring success of each student. How many students can say that Chemistry class was their favourite class of the day? It wasn't the class, it was the teacher (Mr. Hiebert), and his dedication to the subject, but more importantly, his students. He wasn't the only one. There are many examples. She misses this school, as do I. I miss the sense of community for parents. I wouldn't change a thing.

My daughter has been attending SCA for a few months and we are so impressed and happy with it! The staff are phenomenal, personable and communicative! The education and values are Jesus centred and I love watching my daughter learn so much! We were planning on sending her to the local elementary but we are so glad we decided on SCA instead! Thanks for being so awesome SCA!

Best private girls school in Winnipeg.

My little sister goes to this school almost everyday she talks about how the kids that attend this school are very rude, and how the teachers and principal facilitate them. Most of the students in her grade aren't a good influence on her or the younger ones there. They're always swearing and doing all kinds of menaces. During the first couple of months of school she was BULLIED by a couple of her classmates. As a means to end this, I went to talk to the principal myself; only to find out he DID NOTHING about it. Last year my other little sister graduated from there and I recently found out she was bullied during her time there. I know several kids that go to this school who are constantly bullied but nothing is ever done to stop it. OLV has a SERIOUS BULLYING ISSUE that needs to be fixed! Starting with the teachers and Principals that enables it to happen. After witnessing what happened to my sisters and their friends, I wouldn't send my own child to this school for her/his mental and physical health. I would have given this school ZERO STARS, but my little sister insisted on giving a star for Ms. A and Ms. B, the only teachers that seemed to leave a good impression. THEY DESERVE BETTER, YOU DESERVE BETTER! If you are thinking of sending your kid to this school, please take the WELL BEING of YOUR CHILD into CONSIDERATION.

I have been coming here for 3 years and have had different hairstylists each time. It does not matter if I shave my head or want a change in colour or just a trim, they are always ready and eager. The students are comfortable asking questions and chatting with clients. The teachers are VERY knowledgeable!! Thanks for the great times!!!!

I'm very happy with the Catholic education the children are getting. The moral decay of society, including the public school system is abhorrent. I wish more parents would see the breakdown of society, breakdown of the family and choose to educate their children in the Catholic traditions, emphasizing home life including mutual respect, acts of charity like helping parents with chores without complaining, acts of faith such as the family rosary, to name a few. To respond to the comment on uniforms, I wore a uniform from grade one to twelve. My family was poor so the uniform was a Godsend. It takes the worry away about how families will possibly afford to dress their children in the latest trends, especially larger families. It teaches modesty. It never bothered me at all.

I had a great time attending here. The staff were great and they have a good focus. I felt very accepted here.

I when't there for grade 1,2. people there were nice, I learned most of my English there. hoping to visit again.

Everyone has their own learning styles - but if you want teachers who treat you like an adult (which includes letting you take the fall for your own decision) this is a great high school.
