Love this place! We used to go 3-4 times a month when it was the zodiac @Ridgmar mall. We followed them to the new location, It’s smaller & We aren’t able to go as often now. But the food and service is still superb. We’re probably the few people that go in with little kids and even though it’s a pretty upscale type of cafe they have always been respectful and compliment us on how well behaved our kids are. (Most upscale places tend to give dirty looks when u have kids but NOT Neimans Cafes) 🙂

My family loves this place! We get our pizza vegan and it is always delicious. I never worry that something will be wrong with it either as the staff at this location was very knowledgeable about ensuring everything we got was free from animal products. The patio was so lovely even while it was cold outside because their heaters kept it a wonderful temperature. I loved that they allowed us to have our dog with us while we ate outside. This place was wonderful.

Our waitress was very efficient and we had zero problems communicating in both English and Spanish. The chips and salsa were good. Our drinks were strong. My favorite was the Michelada. I didn’t take pictures of my food but I got the parrillada for one & it was pretty tasty! However, the portion was enough for two people to eat. Our food was served in a timely manner. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. I was surprised to se how many people bring young kids and how accommodating the restaurant is to families. We will definitely be coming back! The drag queen show, which was in Spanish, was hilarious!!! *wheel chair accessible

The only thing bad about this place was the drive to get here. The staff was very welcoming and took great care of us. We had a full meal from appetizer to desert and loved every part of it. The key lime pie and the banana pudding were an especially great way to end the meal. We will be coming back to visit.

I first ate at Heim Barbecue in Oct 2016 and thought it was great. It was even better today. Fantastic brisket that melts in your mouth. Pork ribs were tender and juicy, with a sweet smoky taste. Super people. Their spot on the Texas Monthly Top 50 list is well deserved.

I have ordered burgers here often. And the the burgers are good. But of you do take out, you have to check them. Today, I made a take out order for a well done burger. My wife said she wanted a burger for Mother's day. I asked the bartender twice if he was sure it was well done. He assured me that it was. Got home and it was rare. How hard is it to make a well done burger? Good burgers but not consistent and you have to check to be sure that you are not getting the b-team. This is the second or third time I have felt cheated as though I had to tear apart the food before taking it home because the order is not what I asked for and I am done.

Used to come a lot when it was other owner. Not as good as I remember. Place was dirty. Booths are ripped. Food was cold especially rice and bacon on my breakfast tacos. Salsa was good but chips were cold and stale. Home made corn tortillas are a staple. Wasnt busy and I see why.
