I enjoyed every tattoo I have got there trust your artist and there is nothing but good things happen

I had a cover up I wanted done, and was impressed with the quality of Barb's work and the time she spent with me initially to review what I wanted. I should have realized it was going to be bad when I got there and the artwork was not done, and she was going to do it in a different colour (also left me waiting for well over an hour). I asked for it in the original colour, she agreed, but felt it should be darker then as the other tattoo would show through (why she didn't pick up on it the first time I don't know). When all was done, I was left with a pretty flower, but it had a big dark mark on it that was supposed to be a petal. It was on the back of my neck, and ever since I won't wear my hair up. I am finally able to budget in tattoo removal, and will be starting the process soon, and starting over. Do NOT go for cover ups, and if you get any inkling it won't be what you want LEAVE.

Very clean place. Dan Noyes is extremely talented as are the others - his fine line work is incredible. Not always the most organized place, so just call to confirm your appointment time a couple days ahead.

I LOVE GRIM CITY! A few years ago, I got my first tattoo at a different location and it was the most horrifying experience ever. But once I started to come to Grim City.. Well, now I'm a regular customer! The staff are wonderful and incredibly kind. They are very educated in what they are doing, (tattoo's, piercings, etc.) They also take the time to sit down with you and listen to your concerns, and do not make you feel like a nuisance for doing so. Thank you Dijah who did a fantastic job of keeping me comfortable and doing my tattoo! :)

I got my conch pierced by Zoe on a Friday night, no appointment. On a Friday night I called at least 6 other shops in Hamilton and all their piercers had gone home already. Zoë stayed after the shop had closed to do my piercing. Loved this shop, loved the people, great price, will be coming again and recommending to others ♥️
