First off.. I would like to mention the people at Marlin are super friendly and are very eager to get all the information you are looking for. I have no issues with that. However, I went in there 6 weeks ago looking for quotes on a destination wedding in April or May 2018. I was told they would have everything for me in 2 weeks. Seems reasonable enough. Fast forward to yesterday, approx. 6 weeks later, I called them to find out if there was a miscommunication. The lady I was speaking to said she would find out where my information is and call me back in 10 mins. I am still waiting for a phone call. Needless to say, I won't be using their services. A wedding is a very important day and I can't leave something this important in the hands of people who don't get that.

I usually book my own travel, I never saw the need to go through a travel agency. I booked a 9 day trip to Africa to do the gorilla trek in Rwanda (amazing!), and thought that this type of trip was a bit beyond my capabilities. A friend recommended that I book through The Travel Desk, and I am so glad I did. I had excellent service from start to finish! I always had quick responses to all of my questions. My agent Ned was outstanding! She has traveled to 57+ countries and her passion for travel was infectious. She listened to all my wants and what my budget was, and came up with an itinerary that met all my needs and then some. Her expertise with visas, vaccinations, accommodations and currency issues put me at ease for all of my logistical questions and safety concerns. Even though The Travel Desk is in another province, it did not seem to matter. After a few phone calls, most of our communication was via email which made responses fast and the planning efficient. It allowed me to do a bit of research before actually committing to booking each activity, but all of her suggestions were fantastic, she gave me activity options I would have never though possible if I booked on my own. The first part of my trip took us to Uganda, which I had no previous desire to visit, but fell in love with the country and it's people. It was a very enriching experience that I would have never had if not for Ned. (chimpanzee trek in Uganda, white water rafting on The Nile...so amazing!!) I would highly recommend booking with them for all your travel needs, I can't wait until my next exotic vacation.

I've had the opportunity to do commercial helicopter flight training with Synergy. I must say that my experience so far has been astounding! While searching for a place to invest, I had traveled throughout Alberta looking for just the right place. Initially I had found that everyone at Synergy was very personable, something that I hadn't quite found at many of the other flight training facilities. I was able to see that Synergy, even as a new company under new ownership, was in it for more than just the dollar figure. They were in it to share their wealth of experience. Since having started my training I couldn't be happier with the personalities that I work with on a daily basis. Only downside is that they're moving to bigger and better things in Villeneuve which is much further of a commute (dang!) :-/ I would certainly recommend Synergy to family and friends! Great, happy, professional pilots working at a job that they love!!

We have booked many vacation packages, DR, Mexico, with Heather @ Mayfield Common location. She is THE best. No stress, goes out of her way to get the best deal. Ask her questions and you'll get the answers. So good we recommended Heather to my sister and niece. Now they have booked trips with her. On a final note we consider her a good friend too.
