I flew all the way to Edmonton just to see these balls and I was not disappointed! They reflected the heck outta me, my partner, the river, and snow. And then some! Come see these balls!

Wonderful wonderful event! Fun and original ice sculptures, slides for kids, fire for parents. Visited in -20 and the kids didn't even notice how cold it was. Spent just over an hour there, it's not a big place but very much worth it. Well organized too.

Hard to see anything past the trees nowadays but always a good stop to catch your breath after climbing the hill!

Going on the High Level Street Car is a must for anyone visiting Edmonton, Alberta. Take the car to the Farmers Market on a Saturday and enjoy the ride.

I remember a time when I was a young man, just days ago, when I sought out a solution to my provincial tax woes. I dialed a number, 7-8-0-4-2-7-3-0-4-4. As I pushed each key and listened as the dial tone change to ringing I eagerly anticipated how events were going to unfold. A man answered with a voice similar to that of an angel. In a serene, caring manner he asked "how can I help you?" Little did I realize how these words would change my life. I asked if he could confirm the amounts I had on record; he acquiesced. Just as a friendship was beginning to unfold he asked "is there anything else I can help you with?" Unfortunately, I had no other inquiries. Thus concludes the friendship that could have been.

Gorgeous place to start or finish off a river valley walk ❤️

Great place to go for a walk. Its wheelchair accessible so strollers are welcome too. Theres lots of stairs but also an elevator from river valley park side

Dont bring a big boat its not that kind if of a lake you wont even be able to launch it... Seen people try for the better part of an hour and just about wreck their boat its not a deep lake at all..... Good fishing nice scenery quiet and relaxing
