I have lived in Calgary my whole life. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved this place. Something about the history all in one place amazes me. I love that the staff are dressed up in the era of clothing and that when you go into any house they have an astounding amount of knowledge about it. I make it a thing to come every year and recommend it to anyone.

This is a fantastic place to visit! The owners have done a great job beautifying a lovely piece of paradise...there isn't even any dog poop anywhere because they have taught their dog to poop in the neighbors yard...or garage...or flowerbed. ;-)

OH YEAH! This geological site is usually cool. No pun intended. Huge rocks left in a field, by a glacier, very far from where they originated. Kids will love it.

The ammonite is beautiful albeit very expensive. That being said, they do offer some of the highest quality ammonite we saw in Alberta. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but came off as snobby.
