Amazing spot!

Cool water fall in Victoria Park. Seating around the waterfall and a small swimming hole if you need to cool off after a walk or hike.

I have to disagree with the negative reviews. This is a great presentation of the sections - a reminder of how populism and the cult of personality have ended in crumbling decay. More important now than ever unfortunately. No need for a sanitized Disney version of this.

Super cool hidden gem. Great spot for a dip. The water moves fairly quick and it is shaded by trees so the water is a little cooler. Great spot to cool off on a hot day. There is a small trail down to the falls and pool but you have to park on the side of the road. Will be back for a swim forsure.

Lovely art and historical building.

Excellent museum with super-smart docents, anxious to tell the story of these First Nations people's thousands of years of history in the Maritimes. Very nice audio-visual presentation, great exhibits and super-cool Museum shop with native crafts at affordable prices. It's just off the highway and well worth a visit.

Nice place

Had the 'trip of a lifetime' while cycling the islands of Croatia with Pedal and Sea. The guides were top notch - they demonstrated their knowledge and passion for the country, and skillfully accommodated the varying cycling abilities of the riders. The crew was friendly and looked after our food, beverage and 'hotel' needs. Croatia is an exceptionally beautiful country and our cycling routes took us to breath taking vistas and ancient towns steeped in history - all around a feast for the eyes. Pedal and Sea exposed us to the 'must see' sights in Dalmatia, as well as to local, 'off the beaten path' authentic Croatian experiences. Pedal and Sea is customer focused and clearly committed to optimizing the experience of their guests. I would recommend taking a holiday with this company anytime.

Our tour guide was Doug and he was quite entertaining with his commentary. We started with a pretty thorough tour of uptown and downtown Halifax. Showing mainy of the sites along the way. He had many stories to tell and he was not fixed on just dates and facts, but rather stories about the town and some of its residence. He then headed towards Peggy's cove, stopping twice along the way. Peggy's Cove was picture perfect, what can I say. Perhaps the most photographed lighthouse in the world, and it was a great day. Doug hit a few more epots when we got bwck to Halifax. We had a private tour in a family van for my family, 360 for 6 hour tour. Hard to bet that price.

Be sure to enjoy a delicious bowl of chowder or cool down with a homemade ice cream. Get a workout climbing the massive rocks to get that perfect view of the sea, or find a spot to lie in the sun and let the soothing sounds of the waves wash over you – but not literally! Steer clear of the dark rocks, as they can be extremely slippery, and the sea is unpredictable!

It was a rainy day and we wondering what to do around Yarmouth. We went to the draw bridge and what a gorgeous picturesque site. Some of my best pictures came from this place. It's a stunningly beautiful fishing port.
