stopped in for travel insurance and was not greeted with a woman talking on her cell phone at the same time trying to talk to me. left my info. called back a month later as i hadn't heard anything from them and left a voicemail to get in touch with me. they didnt. called again she took my number said she would call back. she didnt. horrible service. ended up going elsewhere.

December 19th, 2017 Burnt by Air Canada vacations without a tan! In effort to plan our annual family reunion, we decided to go through a travel agency (Sundial Travel-2236 34 Ave, Calgary-Owner Gayle White) to pre-book our vacation in early August, for Dreams Huatulco resort and spa operated by Air Canada vacations. We chose to book five months in advance for our Christmas holiday mainly to avoid unreasonable fare increases, increases that would normally occur if you book your vacation last minute. However, this was certainly not the case. On booking our vacation the rates we were given were quite high however in order to justify those rates Sundial claimed that it was due to the fact that we were travelling during Christmas season. Which made sense, furthermore this agency assured us that if a price drop occurred we would be taken care of. The fare we paid was $ 2,800 a person for a group of eight which amounted to a sum of $22,400. A week prior to our departure date when trying to plan our seating arrangements we noticed a significant price drop on both the Air Canada website and the Sundial travel agency website. This price had dropped to $1,852 per person (including tax), which amounted to a difference of $950.00 per person for a total of 8 people coming to a sum of $7,600. Upon learning this, we were extremely disappointed specifically because we were not informed about this price drop. We then scheduled a meeting with our Sundial travel agent the following day. After speaking with our Sundial representative, she too was shocked and understood our frustration. She stated that she would immediately contact the highest office within Air Canada vacations in order to work on some kind of compensation for the price drop. However, this did not happen, our Sundial agent did not take this issue up with the head office in Montreal and instead contacted the provincial sales office in Alberta. This action clearly showed her lack of effort in attempt to resolve this issue for us. The next day through an exchange of e-mails we found out that both the Sundial agency and Air Canada vacations were not prepared to give us any kind of compensation apart from assigned seats. For giving this company business of over $ 20,000 dollars this is unacceptable and quite insulting that they would even offer such kind of compensation. How is it fair that in-spite of booking in advance you still end up with a raw deal via the unethical practices used by this huge corporation. Not to mention that we will now be travelling with passengers who paid half the price of what we paid without any prior booking or paying in advance.

Personable service

The first time I used this service using my RBC Rewards points was awesome. Dallas was my agent. That was in March 2016. This time I tried to use Dallas but she was on holidays so I used Marcia. Not very good and very disappointed even when I complained to upper management. I spoke with Carmella Cambrera, the manager in regards to the service provided by Marcia yesterday morning, Carmella asked me to write an email regarding my concerns, which I did right away. Today before noon, I tried to reach out to Carmella but she was "busy" with a client. It has been a couple of hours now and I still have not received a call back.Carlson Wagonlit books using Expedia and once you check in with the hotel, no one is willing to help you change the hotel booking even an upgrade would have been nice but no one wants to deal with it.

Great work, I was going to South America, this agency got me the best price and it was all well planned. Unlike most other agencies in the city, the price was good and the service was excellent. Keep it up!
