The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The the vet tech Salita is very dedicated to providing the best care for pets, as well as putting a heir owners at ease by answering any questions or concerns they may have about their pets health and/ or their medications. Dr. Sharma is genuine with his love for animals, and has a nice calming energy.

Dr. Jennifer Thompson and the staff showed great compassion and kindness to our beautiful cat Tiger and patience with us in explaining his situation and helping us to understand his care. Dr. Jennifer was exceptional in reading Tiger's signals and respecting him. We were extremely grateful for the above and beyond level of care and accommodation we were shown and highly reccommend this clinic to anyone especially cats.

My 15 year old cat recently had some emergency issues. I called Rosebank Animal Hospital because that's where I took my kitties previously. Dr. Sher answered the phone and I found out that the Shaw's had sold their practice. Dr. Sher took us right away and was very gentile and kind to Indie. He fully explained what the problems might be and answered all of my questions. He took some blood and called me right away the next morning. I would recommend his services highly!

I have both my puppies cared for by the professional and caring Dr Loo and her staffs. Every visit is pleasant and my furry family feels right at home.

My girlfriend and I found a skunk that has been hit by a car and could barely walk at 12:30am on a Saturday night. The animal control services was closed and the "pest" removal companies would "only do it for a fee". I called the Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital and the lady on the phone told me that if we could secure the skunk and bring it in, they could help cease it's suffering in the final hours. We arrived at the hospital at about 1am after capturing the skunk with towels and the vet technician that first came out wanted nothing to do with the skunk, said they ONLY thing they could do was euthanize it, without even wanting to take a LOOK at it and it's injuries to let us know if it was even worth bringing her/him to a rehab facility. This amazing vet tech by the name of Jen heard what was going on and immediately came OUTSIDE (where we were told to sit). She asked my girlfriend to put the little guy on the bench to ASSESS its injuries. The little guy hopped off the bench and we could see that its back legs were DRAGGING behind him/her on the ground. Jen went back in for a few moments while I got on the phone with the Ontario Wildlife Center and got the name of a lady from Skunk Haven who rehabilitates skunks. She suggested that Jen do a reaction test to see if there was feeling in his/her back legs, which was negative. Jen came back out with a syringe with a sedative to ease the little one's pain. The rehab specialist on the phone said that the most humane thing we could do was humanely euthanize the poor thing and end its suffering. Jen wrapped it in towels and put in a carrier to take it to the back and euthanize it. We thanked her graciously for even coming to LOOK at the skunk, as I know this is an abnormal situation. Her response was, "Of course I'd look at him/her. I do whatever I can to help because I don't like to see any being suffering,". This woman has a heart of GOLD and it's vet techs like HER that help restore my faith in humanity. She is not JUST there for a pay check. She genuinely CARES! This woman deserves a RAISE! Thank you sooooo much Jen for going out of your way to help this poor creature who would have been in agonizing pain for the last few hours of their life. Thank you for HAVING A HEART and coming out to ASSESS it when your colleague rudely turned us away. We appreciate all that you have done!

I highly recommend 16th Avenue Animal Hospital without hesitation. Dr. Brar and Katie are always accessible by phone. This veterinary office stands out amongst others because you can always seek advice after hours. Don’t be surprised when you call the office in the evening to have Dr. Brar answer the phone and give you advice about your pet. Recently Dr. Brar and Katie made a house visit to assess my elderly dog. Dr. Brar administered a needle to my pet which worked like magic. Katie is a sweetheart and so knowledgeable! I can honestly say that this is a veterinary office that is in the business for the love of animals! It’s not all about the money but about their passion of animals, our pets! Thank you!

It’s always a pleasure to see Dr Hanna! I’m always in and out for my apointments and he’s always very caring and gentle with my 2 year old pup who absolutely adores him.. his staff are always very pleasant and accommodating and very thorough when explaining treatment or the proper procedures in taking medication. I’m so happy to say we will always stay loyal to him because he keeps my girl healthy and happy and that’s the only thing that matters .. can’t put a pride tag when your baby is happy and healthy :)

I have been fortunate to have Dr. Polson and Dr. Catena care for my dogs and cats for well over 20 years and have the utmost respect and appreciation for their professional opinion no matter what the circumstances of my visits have been. The degree of care, compassion, expertise, and honesty is something I value immensely. I have moved from Oakville to Brampton but would not even consider switching to a local veterinarian. Royal Ford vets are top notch in every way. Thank you to Dr. Polson, Dr. Catena and staff for many, many years of the best of care for my pets. And thank you, Dr. Polson, for the laughs and the memories. We have been through a lot the past 20+ years.
