I first went to the Animal Clinic when I moved to Toronto 8 years ago. I brought with me a very loving pooch who turned into a snarling beast when handled by vets and vet techs. My aunt, a long time client, recommend The Animal Clinic as she too had an ornery dog and they could handle his drama. I decided to give them a shot and brought Connor there. And I never left. Right up until the day he passed they were a wonderful clinic. They made a point of greeting us when we came in. The vets always explained everything thoroughly. They never held back on giving opinions either. The day Connor passed sucked. He developed dementia and we knew it was the end. Dr. Chris was so kind and just wonderful through the whole process. She gave Connor the love and attention he deserved and she gave us big hugs when he was gone. I left the clinic when I got my puppy as I found a place that offered cheap shots and exams for pups. Well, you get what you pay for. The Animal Clinic is fully accessible for animals and humans. They have hydraulic tables so there’s no lifting of larger animals on to tables. Stella, my girl, will be going back for her boosters when she’s one. I regret leaving wholeheartedly.

Dr Oscar is a miracle worker and saved my dogs life today. When we showed up to his clinic with our tiny girl in an emergency they rushed her in immediately even though there were other pups waiting to be seen. Dr Oscar explained to us that she was not in good condition and asked how much intervention we wanted to proceed with. Dr Oscar was calm in a very stressful situation and when we asked him to do whatever it takes because she is the love of my life he did exactly that. I could see through the glass how frantic things looked in the back and sat in the treatment room crying and praying. After 30 minutes he returned to the room letting us know they were able to stabilize her and that she was alive. Dr. Oscar truly cares and is able to maintain amazing critical thinking skills even under extreme pressure. Thank you Dr. Oscar and the entire team for everything you did today to save Taytums life. She is the love of my life and I will forever be grateful for how amazing you guys are.

To anyone who's considering this Veterinary Clinic I can highly recommend it. The people who work at the front desk are incredibly kind and compassionate and they staff overall is so willing to go above and beyond in the name of customer service. I wholeheartedly believe that they are first and foremost concerned with the well being of all household pets and that's something I don't think should be overlooked. Even though my little cat Luke is no longer with us, I'd consider revisiting this clinic if I adopt another pet.

We've been bringing our two cats here for a few years now and the veterinarians have been wonderful. One of our kitties had an operation to remove an infected hairball that was blocking his intestine and they were quick to diagnose and treat him. It is not an inexpensive place by any means, but they are thorough and I would say the price matches their expertise and skill. The one star off is only because some of their front desk staff could be a bit more attentive to customers. I've waited around many times to buy cat food while they finish their personal conversations or phone calls with no acknowledgement to the fact that I'm standing right in front of them.

Edison and his staff have been taking the best care of our family's cats for more than decade helping them and us through some hard and very happy times. Their work with charities and local feline rescues (like Annex Cat Rescue) is exemplary. Our family's current 3 plus 2 furry herd - among two households - are 4 rescues plus a walk in and range in age from 4 months to 12 years. They are always in good hands. Highly recommended.

Great veterinarians and staff. Good advice and they don't try to sell you any snake oil. Unless you bring in a snake with dry skin I suppose.

I have taken all my cats to Annex for a few years. They have always accepted the different feral cats I’ve brought, regardless of their condition. Everyone is kind and helpful. Costing is reasonable and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I took my cat in for a check up as my partner and I had just adopted him and we wanted to be certain our little guy hadn't picked anything up while at the shelter. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly, offering advice regarding helping our cat relax when it was time to be put in his carrier. The vet that I saw, Dr. Fromstein, was very friendly and very good with my boy. He had a very relaxed and informal approach, while maintaining professionalism, which I greatly appreciated. My cat was purring and rubbing against him within seconds. He fielded all my questions and I had none left by the end of the visit. The only drawback is the cost as it is a little pricey, however for the area it's definitely comparable, and for the quality of service I'm certainly okay with it. My cat will continue to attend this clinic!
