Without prejudice Laura Martin /Cartwright I feel strongly I need to address this post made by the above named. I joel Mcphillips took a call from Laura who explained she was a tenant of a property . Laura said that she had a handle fault on French doors . I would like to advise that Laura Martin/Cartwright was not a customer of Dolphin Windows, Dolphin Windows did not and have not ever installed any products for Laura Martin/Cartwright or her Landlord however I did try to help her and asked her to send over a picture of the faulty handle to see if I could source one for her. Laura sent over a picture and I contacted various suppliers to see if anyone could supply this handle. Unfortunately I was unable to get the handle as it was an old handle and they do not supply these any more. Laura rang me back as by this time the handle had now snapped. I advised Laura that the only thing that I could do was to come out and screw the door shut. Laura then advised me that she would inform the Landlord with regards to the broken handle and that I was prepared to screw the door shut. I advised Laura that the Landlord would have to replace the door as was a security hazard. At no time did I try to sell anyone a door, all I was doing was advising of what could be done st that stage. The obvious solution would of been for Laura’s Landlord to contact the company that installed his/her windows as all reputable Double Glazing Companies supply a insurance backed guarantee. I feel that Laura’s comments with regards to Dolphin Windows read as if we had installed the windows and that she was a customer which is not true. All I was doing was trying to help and st the end of the conversation with Laura she thanked me very much for my help. As you can imagine I was shocked by the comments that Laura posted and would like to put the record straight.
