Really nice park with tennis and basketball courts. By-laws are always around patrolling the area same with the city staff. Great place to be in especially if you have kids because of the water park and the river.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to Peru and Cambodia with Developing World Connections and I plan to participate in many more. Both these trips have changed my life completely and have given me the passion to help people all around the world. These trips are much more than just going to helping people in need. All trips around the world hosted by Developing World Connections focus on emerging yourself into the culture and understanding the individuals lifestyle you are helping by participating in culture based activities and creating ever lasting friendships with the people in the community. Developing World Connections ensures that you are getting as much out of your volunteering experience as the individuals you are helping. Traveling the World and helping people at the same time will making your travelling experience so much better and it makes you see the world in a different light; Developing World Connections can givr you a travelling experience like no other

Thank you so much to the NSBIA for putting on the very stellar Music in MacDonald Park! I saw The Imprints, from Australia, and was in awe that I can see this caliber of music (should have been at Salmon Arm Roots and Blues caliber) for free and at a local park! Kudos to all who organized this event!

Joint fundraiser with Desert Sounds Harmony Chorus and Boys and Girls Club, North Shore...gently used or new shoes, scarves and handbags. Hope to make it a semi-annual event.

This organization is awesome!

I recently renewed my membership at the new John Tod Centre in North Kamloops... what a great facility! The weight and exercise area is much expanded, modern and clean. It also appears to be a very popular child care/ child development centre. Above all... the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Thanks

An excellent resource. Helped my wife get her status card and me get new ID. They offer lots of great programs and courses for people of all ages. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
