Great people. Got my boat off of the transport trailer, wheels on and in the water.

They did a good and timely job rebuilding the head but had complained about the labor time to adjust the valves. He kept to the quoted price which was better than anyone else. However, when two valves needed to be replaced that I could of bought for $10 each he went ahead without notifying me and bought two at supposedly $45 each. He added $90 to the original quote which made me highly suspect that he marked them up to cover his additional labor cost on the valve adjustment that he complained about being difficult. You be the judge.

Was charged 2-1/2 hours for diagonsing the problem so they could quote the job. The result was Pressure in the radiator, no water in the oil = Bad Headgasket, which is exactly what I told them. The guy that called said they had never done headgaskets on a Duramax before, and that's not what they normally work on. Mark said they work on Duramax's all the time. They quoted 45 hours even though book time is 35 hours. I had to give them 1 star to post this, but I wouldn't give them that much credit.

Wes and John know their diesels. I told them my problems and they knew what needed to be done. My truck runs stronger now and gets 3+ more miles per gallon. If you have a diesel, see them, you will be happy you did!

Outstanding place to take your vehicle

I was told they would diagnose my vehicle before starting to work on it. Now, maybe I am wrong but to me that means, they would tell me what’s wrong, fix it if I wanted and than my car would be running again. The mechanic informed me it was the starter and installed a new one. The vehicle was running and I thought great it’s fixed. I paid him and got into my vehicle. He told me to turn off the engine and it should start right back up but it didn’t. He than checked the battery and now said it was the alternator. I now have a new starter but my vehicle isn’t running. I called McFarlands because I was unhappy with their service and was told they did what they said they would do. The mechanic lied and said I requested him to install the starter. I am not a mechanic. I called them to fix my vehicle and it’s still not running. They did offer to send the same mechanic out to diagnose my vehicle for free. I decided not to accept their offer. Why would I have the same mechanic come back??????

Definitely would use these guys again. Honest and do what they say there gonna do. Thank you.

Consistently great service for our 2000 dodge ram 2500 diesel truck. We use it to pull a 5th wheel so sometimes we need to get in quick to follow up on maintenance and we are always fit in. We can explain a noise or problem and Russ figures it out and gets us back on the road. We do not take our truck anywhere else. We have full confidence in his workmanship. Alliance customer service and workmanship was excellent. We are full-time RVers and they allowed us to live in our rv outside of the shop. They went above and beyond to help us. They troubleshooted the issue and resolved the issue in a timely manner. They were very reasonable, upfront and honest. You won't find a better shop around. I recommend Alliance to anyone .

Guys are awesome really know their stuff

These guys really did a great job rebuilding the engine in the truck I use for work. One month in and 10,000 miles down the road and it's running like a top. I'd love to show you a couple of pics of it but my boss is always uptight about things as such. Maybe later, after I get a better job.
