I had a fuel pump go out on my '02 7.3L Diesel Ford, they had it fixed in a couple days, it was a little expensive $1,000 to be exact, but they did a good job and they had it done quick, and when it comes to these Ford Diesel trucks, you don't want to cut cost corners. Nothing's worse than dropping 44 gallons of diesel on the highway.

The gentleman that showed up to assist me called to make sure of my postion at the truck stop in Bakersfield, CA, came to where I was parked and proceeded to complete the task assigned. He was Courteous as well as Professional in attitude and appearance. KUDOS for a JOB WELL DONE. THANK YOU for your assistance.....

Purchased an engine on June 1, 2020. Jose say's it finally shipped in November 2020. Engine never arrived. Now Jose tells me that the company transporting the engine went out of business while in the middle of transporting it. Somehow the engine ended up in some warehouse in Florida and some insurance company is now in possession of it. Jose refuses to provide any form of documentation showing that the engine ever shipped as he states. He also refuses to provide any information as to the whereabouts of the engine, or the insurance company supposedly in possession of it. Jose also refuses to provide any information to the shipping company that was transporting the engine. No name of the shipping company, or address or phone number. Still to this day, I have not received the engine and he refuses to provide a refund. He's a scammer!!!

I needed to get the compressor replaced in my air conditioner and get it up and running for the summer. I called at least 6 different mechanic shops in town. I was either treated with a quick "roundabout" estimate, (way above what anyone else was saying) never received a call back, put on hold for someone who was "the only one here that knows about that" or just a very uneasy feeling about the person I was speaking to ( leaving no trust for the work of the company). When I called C&R Automotive, the phone was answered by someone who immediately made me feel that I found the right place to do the work on my car. His first words were; "Let me call you right back as I think I can get a better deal on the part I need if I call around." He called me back within 5 minutes with a very affordable estimate. When I got to his office he allowed me free wifi so I could handle business while I waited in an incredibly comfortable and clean waiting room. While sitting there I heard him on the phone with someone inquiring about a part for a customer who had just brought his car in. He told the person on the phone that the price they quoted was more then 'we' are willing to pay. This man gets it! We are not all made of money and we would hope those who are in the service industry would know that. I was conversing with another customer and they had said that they would not ever take their vehicle to anyone but him and he used to be his mechanic elsewhere and he always had a waiting list for customers. Wow! My vehicle was done in record time with no problems since. Only in a perfect world do you get all you ask for from your mechanic. I think for a day I was in a perfect world when I did business with this company! This NEVER happens to me and I am always prepared for it...usually I either get the runaround on the phone or spoken to like I am an ignorant woman. Then when I get to their shop I get played (after all I am a dumb woman I don't know any better). I then end up sitting on something hard and filthy for hours waiting for the work to be done and of course the work is never done right and I have to bring my car back. Thank you C&R I will be back and I will be telling my friends about you.

Reliable diesel mechanic specialist, He worked on three diesel trucks (Duramax, Cummins, and ford) and he was able to locate the problem and had it fixed and ready asap. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who has any issues with their work/personal diesel truck.
