My favourite hairdresser.

Devon saved my hair. She took my long/damaged/red-burgundy coloured mess of a home dye-job and made it a shiny, natural, rich red with soft highlights and an amazing cut (all for one of the most reasonable prices I have ever paid at a salon). My hair looked and felt so much better for a full 3 months following that appointment, and I will definitely go see her again. I can't afford to see a professional to get my hair coloured all the time, but I will definitely go to Devon at Vanity anytime I want a cut, or to have my colour professionally managed. I can't stress enough how good she is - she listens carefully, provides honest advice, and has superior colouring and cutting skills. If you want an amazing cut, or have colour issues, don't go to any other Aveda salon in the city.

Jodi, the owner is a fantastic stylist and is one of the friendliest people in the neighborhood too! She's been doing my hair for over 3 years and I have great respect for the work she does. :)

cute little place, would have never known it was there if it werent for google maps because its located in an apartment building and you have to buzz to get up. the staff are friendly and the aesthetician was really good with her hands, I was so relaxed during the facial I think I may have fallen asleep for a bit! kind of pricey, but my face is pretty soft right now and feels thoroughly cleaned(doesn't feel greasy and its been 8 hours already), and she did a neck, scalp, arms and foot massage with it so $100 with all that and the facial I'd say was a pretty decent price. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Ashley did the MOST fantastic job on my hair! I've never gotten so many compliments on a haircut. She also does my (male) roommate's hair and it always looks sharp. She's a woman of many talents and I highly recommend her!

Be aware if you book online, each stylist has different prices for their cuts, and it doesn't tell you their prices online. Did this accidentally and ended up paying 65 for a haircut, yikes! I've never spent that much on a haircut before. Loved my haircut though, good conversation and good atmosphere. Just wouldn't get cut by the same stylist because of the price.
