Sonya Miller is the best hair stylist I have ever been to. I don't live in the area, but always get my hair done by her when I'm in the area, just because she is that good. I recently had her give me hair extensions, which turned out amazing. She died my hair the perfect color to match, and blended all the hair nicely. If I had a choice, I would never ever go to any other stylist (its really too bad she lives so far away from me).

The Cutting Room Salon is a beautiful addition to downtown Cary and a true treasure. Jenny and Joyce are the embodiment of professionalism. Jenny is amazingly talented. She is creative, honest and a great listener. My husband and I have trusted Jenny with our hair for the past 12 years and she has never let us down. I always receive compliments on my hair. The salon offers a wide variety of services for both men and women and the service is unsurpassed! The salon is a lovely cross between the elegance and sophistication portrayed in the American classic The Great Gatsby and today’s modern age. It offers free Wi-Fi, a charming sitting area and beverages. I highly recommend the chai tea!

Great place for a family haircut

Such a quaint relaxing atmosphere! Krista always takes her time and is so consistent with my blonde and keeping my hair healthy.

Poor service here, I received the exact opposite of what I asked for, which was long tapered layers so that my hair would lay in a v shape in the back, not straight across. After the first go around, I pointed out to the stylist that my hair wasn't really in a v shape, so she went in and "corrected" it by making it blunt, yet again, and shorter. At that point she had taken off so much length (something I requested also was to leave as much length as possible) that I said enough is enough, paid, and left. Not a bad haircut, but not what I asked for, and certainly not what I wanted to spend forty dollars on.
