When my hair stylist of 10 years moved to KJ Nutt, I had to follow. Whitney Bell is AMAZING and the only person I will go to for haircuts. When I started seeing her, I was straightening my hair and coloring it myself and it was a hot mess. She has helped me go from frizzy to amazing natural curls. She is one of the few people that can cut curly hair to look good both ways. Because she has helped me get healthy hair, I now rock natural curls most days. The whole KJ Nutt team is so friendly. They often a causal, comfortable environment. I would highly recommend Whitney and the whole KJ Nutt family.

I am new to West Lafayette and had no idea where to get my hair done. I'm a natural blonde and I hate the "yellow" look that seems to keep appearing. I went to a salon, that was not Evan Todd, and it was HORRIBLE. It looks like I dipped my head in bleach- not a good look. I called Evan Todd praying that they could help me out. Their receptionist was SO sweet and got me in that morning for a consultation with Janet. Janet SLAYED it. Literally brought my hair back to life. I wanted a cool toned blonde color that I found on Pinterest (of course) and it looks better than the picture. (Crystal Ash for reference). I also received a complimentary hand massage and foot soak. The Salon was really clean, all the girls were extremely friendly, and the services were great! Highly recommend Janet and Evan Todd. Don't bother with the others- you'll end up looking like Draco Malfoy.

This place used to be pretty good. But it seems that all of their good stylist aren't there any more. The last two hair cuts I have received have been very sub par. Debra has cut my hair both times. She is unprofessional. I don't want to hear about how hard your job is and all your problems. No offense to anyone that styles and cuts hair for a profession, but there are a lot more stressful and labor intensive jobs than that. I will not be returning and do not recommend any one else gives them a chance. Especially when you have to go home and trim it up your self to make yourself look respectful.
