Beauty Salon

I've been shopping at Ulta for a long time especially at this location. My last experience at this Ulta location was something I've never had before. I was accused of having something in my pockets, like as if I was stealing. I had a product in my hand but I decided I didn't want it anymore so I put it on a random shelf, yes I know not the best idea but I didn't have it anymore. A worker me and asked me if I wanted to get matched in a shade and I replied saying no I already know my shade. She kept asking me questions like "I thought you had one in your hands?" Just looking at me and hoarding around me. I walked away and I went to go look at an eyeshadow palette by Anastasia and I picked it up and it started sensoring and a light was on and it was beeping and the same worker came over and snatched it out of my hands and walked away from me, I genuinely wanted to look at the palette and she just took it away from me without saying a word. Next thing I know they had a mall cop come in and was following me around, I was very confused and he kept staring then eventually asked to see if anything was in my pockets. I got very upset and showed that I had nothing whatsoever in my pockets. I even pulled my shirt down over my chest too to show I wasn't hiding it in my boobs even. After I cecked out, l exit probably just waiting for me to walk out and have the alarm go off, I walked out of the store and nothing happened. Exactly nothing happened because I didn't do anything. I don't know if they saw me put my hands in my pocket or saw my phone thinking it was an item I'm not sure, but that is not the way to handle it. I work in customer service at a hotel and if I was EVER rude to a customer or guest like that I would lose my job. The lady could've asked me nicely, instead she assumed the worst and had a terrible personality. That is not the way to go about the situation. I'm a young person myself and like I said working in customer service, I've never had an experience like that. I was embarrassed, just minding my own business. Go to the Jordan Creek one instead.
