Good place to get your hair styled

Never getting my hair cut again there. I tell them what the hell and all they had to do was laugh and say it'll grow back the head manager was there that said it.

I didn't like my experience the first time that I visited, but I LOVED my second visit. I was told that the wait would be 40 minutes, but it only took 30, which wasn't a big deal because I came in roughly an hour before closing and they were pretty busy. I didn't like my first visit because the woman talked too much, most of their polish looked kind of old and almost empty, and my polish chipped after only a day of having it done when I barely do much with my hands. This time, I decided to just get shellac polish since it had more of a quality selection and I wanted it to last longer. The overall quality of the paint looks better, like it will hold up for AT LEAST 3 weeks, the man massaged my feet and legs with lotion for a good amount of time, he talked to me every now and then but not too much, and they were playing xfactor on the tv which kept me entertained. So, if you are looking to get just a regular polish pedicure or manicure; this isn't the place for you, but if you're willing to spend an extra $10 to get shellac; this place is amazing.

Not a good haircut instead of it being layered on top and not too much taken off I was scalped. It looks awful. Will never go back so sorry I trusted that the hair dresser would cut my hair the way I requested. Scissor happy.

All of the stylists here are very knowledgeable in what they do, from cutting to coloring, highlighting and waxing, great with kids as well... Definitely recommend visiting 👍👍

Made an online appointment for 2:45 for my 1 year old and I to get haircuts. Didn't get seen until after 3. Chantel did a good job on my son's hair but when it came time to do mine her boyfriend was waiting for her to be done, I showed her what I wanted (a simple bob cut) she didn't feel "comfortable" doing it. Said I could wait 15 or 20 minutes for another stylist to cut it but I declined. Ended up pretty disappointed and I won't be returning.

It's official. Flatiron District is my go-to salon for beautiful blowouts. The service I receive is top notch. From the moment I walk in, I'm offered champagne, receive a hand massage while my hair is conditioned and the stylist makes sure I'm absolutely happy with my hair. I've had blowouts at other salons and the style doesn't stay unlike my styles from Flatiron District. The products are all Aveda and keep my style for days. At one point, there was only one stylist and my appointment was cancelled 5 minutes before I arrived due to the stylist calling in to work. The owner rectified the situation by offering a free blowout for the inconvenience. Now they have 3 stylists and even more availability. As far as I'm concerned there's only one blowout salon in Kansas City. 💟
