I have to admit I was reluctant to go here based on the overall review ratings, but when I walked past the salon a few days ago I couldn't resist. The place looked homey and everyone was so lovely and welcoming! I booked my deva cut with the owner (Christine) and went to get it done today. I was surprised to know that I only needed half an hour and it only cost $35! Especially that I had done my hair cut before (also a deva cut) for three times the price PLUS it took them 1.5hrs each time at some other salons. Christine was extremely attentive, talented, and put me straight at ease. Getting into my 4b (kinky-curly) hair was almost like it was second nature to her. It looked effortless, it was quick and it came out perfect! I'm going back for a colour consult next week with her.

The stylists here are adept and customer focused. Ive been using Supercuts for a couple of years and am delighted with how i look on exit. I usually let my hair grow too long and appreciate their ability to make me look like a normal person and not an 80s big hair refugee.

Jennie and her team are absolutely amazing and so fun to work with. Jennie is one of those (few and far between) hairstylists that you can totally trust and leave it all in her hands. I live in FL but if I'm able I totally plan of flying up to see her!!!! She is totally worth it and Newport is so beautiful-- win win! Thank you guys!
