Overall, I am slightly disappointed. I've gone to Visage twice due to the raving of my mother about their haircuts-- she has always loved hers, and I can attest that the haircut I received was great. But I have gone in twice for highlights specifically aimed at blending in my previous grown out highlights with my natural brown hair, and twice I have been disappointed. I've had my hair balayaged consistently over the last 3 years with a resulting "beachy" and messy look. I've always really loved it because it is as close to being a blonde as I can get. I went to visage specifically asking for this, but in the process my hair was toned too dark and I lost all the blonde at the bottom end of my hair-- not to mention that I feel like the highlights are streaky compared to my normal look. I might as well have thrown $400+ out the window, plus the $160 I paid that day. I really like visage, the stylists have always been kind and sociable but I feel as if they do what they think is best, not necessarily what you ask for. I think I received a great haircut, and ultimately a very nice light brown color with blonde highlights. But it wasn't what I asked for. When I went back to tell them this, I felt as if no one jumped to correct what I felt to be a mistake, and instead I would have had to pay more to get more highlights in order to go back to my original hair. I decided to save my money and just go back to my regular salon. Ultimately-- It's a great cut and color, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have a specific look in mind.

Frances London DuBose is an amazing artist, both with color and cutting. I have had the privilege of working with her on photoshoots for Intercoiffure for over 25 years. Her creativity and eye for color and design is instinctive and constantly evolving. Her photoshoot models are always on trend and she is a the most published photoshoot artist in the world; as her work has appeared in more international publications than any other artist. In the salon I have seen her do amazing makeovers on women of all ages, and I have seen her take years off a mature woman. I consider her a valued mentor and have brought her to my salon in Palm Beach to educate my staff. She was also the guest artist I chose to headline an educational event I produced for Palm Beach County hairstylists and salon owners where she received unanimous rave reviews from the attendees' surveys. I highly recommend Frances and her salon team!

I have been going to April Suggs for over 20 years, and she is an amazing stylist! She has cut, colored, and styled my hair for years, and she does amazing up-dos! I was sad to hear that Arlene's was closing, but I am so excited that April and a few other stylists opened Saudade Hair Studio!

Joanna is wonderful and she is super talented. Best salon on Daniel Island for sure.

They are quite friendly and, so far, I am happy with their service. Ms Unhwa see to it that the customers feel welcome. Very nice.

Found this place by accident, first warning sign should have been that I was the only customer there. Has the feel of a nail salon, minus the busy-ness. Stylists were wearing jeans, looked like they had rolled out of bed and into work. I didn't like the haircut but feared that any more work would make it unfixable. There are so many really great places in Mt Pleasant to have your haircut, don't make the same mistake I did.

I've been very satisfied with going to Rita for the past 8 years! She is fun and is a very accomplished colorist and stylist!!! Betty
