a couple of months ago I decided to explore the all-on-4 concept for my neglected teeth. Lots of reading of reviews and studies followed. Many were wildly optimistic and some rather more practical. I don't live far from Dr B's office and sent them an email. I was rather surprised to receive a personal reply and decided to take up his offer of a complementary consult after having sent him a few unflattering photos. He runs a solo practice with a large staff in a fine new office adjacent to Bayview Village. They offer free covered parking. And so my journey as an ardent dento-phobe began. He is a charming, no nonsense and non-judgemental guy. He will perform all-on X where X can be any number from 5 implants and upwards per arch. He is not a fan of using just 4 implants per arch due to the cantilever (unsupported) effect upon the outlying molars, which could lead to fracturing. Interestingly using more implants does NOT increase the price, just his cost :) He wants the best possible results for his patients. He operates personally on his patients with the help of his charming Assosciate Dr. Ing to deliver iv sedation. I felt nothing during my lengthy procedure. For the curious, they freeze the operative field and add the iv to put you into the twilight zone. No summary could be complete with some comments about his abundant staff. They are professional, charming and uber friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. Lastly cost... very market appropriate. No silly extras or upcharges. Again strongly recommended on all accounts.
