Totally unacceptable pricing !!

When I first became a patient of Family Dentistry I was treated in an excellent manner, very professional and very fair pricing. But that was then and this is now. I called today to have a crown re-glued that had popped off. A very very very simple thing to do, maybe 5 minutes by an assistant plus the cost of the glue. I have the crown, a great stub to put it back on, nothing complicated at all. A 5 minute procedure.... They quoted me $ 250.00 !!!! I consider this extreme price gouging. Sad to see a dental practice doing this.

Terrible

Dr Shirley and I had a verbal agreement, that I take him and his family on a Deep Sea fishing on my Charter boat on 12/31/2019 for 10 hours, in exchange for 2 crowns and a filling. After holding up my end of the deal, and taking him and some of his family and a couple of his friends fishing, I had my root canal done and he performed, 1 crown. Due to Covid, I was not able to get the other root canal done until late June 2020. Upon completion of my 2nd root canal, I contacted him. Which to my surprise I was told that I would have pay for any additional work, and also I was shocked that he told me in a text that I had not actually taken him on a 10 hour trip, but instead only a 6 hour, and he also falsely implied that I had an afternoon trip scheduled which in fact, is completely unfounded and baseless. Most people who understand the charter boat industry, know very seldom are double trips run in the off season. I was taken advantage of and then called a liar. Absolutely Terrible.

Great dental practice, has the knowledge and experience and I would certainly recommend Dr. Shirley and his staff to anyone looking for dental work to be done. I will certainly be using Freeport Family Dentistry for years to come.

My husband and I have been going here for the last few months now and it was great! Friendly staff and all! The last visit was not all the well, one of the employees was very rough on my teeth, and I kept trying to pull away because it hurt so bad(and considering I have braces on and Very sensitive teeth), and she kept digging in my mouth/gums harder! Ok, so my husband and I own our own business, so we have jobs that come in daily. So, I have had to cancel & reschedule a couple times, and so has my husband. I called only the second time to cancel/reschedule and they told us both that they will no longer see us or able to come back as patients! All I’ve got to say is, WOW!! What king of professional companies do that to their patients?!?!? That was horrible! We deal with customers all the time with our business and we Always work with them and their schedules. I will not ever recommend anyone to this place!
