I had a really good experience in my lower wisdom tooth extraction, it's been 2 going on 3 weeks and it's healed great, no complications at all. Also enjoyed the staff while I was there, they have always treated me with complete kindness. I am a huge skeptic of Doctors but Dr. Chuong really knows what he is doing. I enjoyed his professionalism and felt comfortable.

I had an oral fistula which is a passage between a hollow or tubular organ and the body surface, or between two hollow or tubular organs, in this case leading to a major sinus cavity. This issue caused a severe sinus infection which an ear/nose and throat specialist was able to clear temporarily without resolving the root of the problem. It took me months to find a surgeon who specializes in this type of procedure. I finally came across Dr. Chuong who is located two hours from my home but well worth the drive. Dr Chuong from day one offered insightful information about my condition and the surgical procedure necessary to resolve the abnormality. We scheduled an appointment for surgery and somehow I confused the procedure date and missed the appinmtmet for surgery. We rescheduled for the following week and Dr. Chung was very understanding and didn't make me feel awkward about missing the appointment which I'm sure caused him a significant inconvenice considering I was the first patient that morning. The surgery was a success which I never doubted for a moment and the doctor took the time to actually pick up the phone and call me to to see how I was doing, not once but twice in a matter of a few weeks after the surgery. These are phone calls in between post op visits to his office mind you. Bottom line, this is a great surgeon/doctor and you should be grateful for the opportunity to have him treat you.

I went to Dr. Chuong to have all four wisdom teeth removed about two weeks ago. I was worried about the pain after surgery but honestly, the pain my wisdom teeth caused me was much worse. That could be because I have really big teeth for such a small mouth, which is a rarity 😆😂. My bottom teeth were piercing half way out of my gums. The top right was attempting to pierce through my gum, and the top left was half way to my gum line. None of them had room.I am grateful to Chuong for relieving me from my agony. He did an amazing job. It only took him 40 mins (10 mins a tooth). He used self dissolving stitches. They held as long as they needed to. He caused no permanent damage and explained everything I needed to know pre and post surgery. He is highly knowledgable and has his profession down to a science. His staff was friendly and comforting. They even made an effort to call me two hours after the surgery (I live two hours away from his office) to make sure I was ok. Chuong’s office deserves no less than 5 stars 😊

I needed to have a suspicious mass removed from inside my lower jaw and had no idea where to go. I started researching Doctors in the area and came across Dr.Robert Chuong . His credentials are extremely impressive. I was concerned that the mass in my jaw might be something worse and wanted a Dr that could see it through if more severe reconstructive jaw surgery might be required. So I called his office and the staff was extremely helpful, compassionate and understanding. I went in for consult and again, the staff was very personable which helps when your a big baby like me when it comes to surgery. I also want to mention that while in waiting area I asked a few other patients how they liked Dr. Chuong - everyone was quick to chime in how remarkable he was ! Major plus in my book. I found Dr.Choung to be very professional and quit knowledgeable. I had many questions which he took the time to answer. I've read other reviews where it was mentioned that he didn't have a bedside manner. Well, in my opinion, when it comes to someone operating on my jaw and removing a mass - and a breath away from major nerves- I will go with a doctor with impeccable credentials and impressive surgical recommendations before I select a doctor just because he's charming. Besides- I found him to be pleasant and personable. So, that being said I'll forward to day of my surgery. To say I was petrified doesn't even come close. When I arrived I went right back and he had to give me an IV ( which I'm terrified of needles) so after a little back and forth hesitation on my part he did the IV. No discomfort- it was a breeze !!!!! I was awake using a twilight sedation. I asked him to cover my eyes with cloth so I couldn't see anything. Which they did. It was so amazingly easy- seemed like 10 minutes and it was over- even though took little over an hour. My big concern also was that I would be out of it for day or so when I got home and in extreme pain due to the type of surgery and sedation. Just the opposite !!!!! I was a little tired when I got home and immediately took prescribed pain killer as advised. I never once had any extreme discomfort of any type or felt drowsy at all. In fact- I never had any real pain at all. It was just so simple! In conclusion, the reason for this lengthy review is I believe the majority of people have a true fear of dental surgeries and have no idea where to go. There's just so many doctors it's over-whelming. So after many hours of extensive research I find this incredible Doctor and had such a pleasant, positive and painless experience- I wanted to shout it from the roof-tops and share it with everyone. My sister saw how remarkable my experience was and how quickly I recovered so now her daughter will be going to Dr. Chuong to have her wisdom teeth removed. We both know she will be in exceptional hands . Needless to say- I would highly recommend him !

Went to get my wisdom teeth removed, horrible work and very immature staff. After a day one of the stitches came out (are supposed to dissolve after a week) and had one of the members laugh and continue to mock for asking a simple request. If you can do not go here, anyone else would be better.
