see update. Dr. Livingston is awesome, but hate the dentures made by the NY lab. Have worn them for a month and my gums are so sore. They were made with so much extra material and when they were ground down, it is impossible to wear them without glue which make my gums raw and painful. I will need to go to another dentist for a new set. I paid cash at Aspen, and will need to pay again for new dentures. *****I just wanted to add to this review...it does not reflect on any or all of the office personnel. Everyone was professional, friendly and always made me comfortable. It also does not reflect on the quality of service provided by Dr. Livingston. I was contacted by the office manager, she patiently listened to my concerns about the quality of my dentures created by the lab they had chosen to use. After a few hours, she called again. An acceptable solution was offered. I will continue to recommend this facility for all other dental services.

I had went to a competitor initially and the prices were outrageous and terribly difficult to understand. My husband had suggested we check Aspen Dental out because he had a pleasant experience before. It was such an easy process, the prices were easy to understand, the staff was friendly and caring. It was so easy that wr started the process right then and there and will have all procedures done within a week of us first arriving for the consultation. I will never go anywhere else for anything dental. Thank you!

Fabulous hygenist, Trudy Hogg, and fabulous Dr. Livingston! What can i say! These folks are not only pleasant, they're very thorough and very educated. Definitely a great location too!

Spent 20 minutes on the first call to make sure they took my insurance. Scheduled an appointment. They don't take my insurance and told me "the call center doesn't always know the details". Maybe they should?

Today was my first visit to Aspen Dental of Albany. I switched dental insurances and had been procrastinating establishing with a new team since dental work causes me a measure of anxiety. Perhaps you feel similarly if you're reading reviews. First, a note about scheduling: I called expecting to make an appointment two weeks out, as with most medical offices, but was pleasantly surprised when they offered me a same-day appointment. I was further impressed when after my new patient exam, they got me in immediately for a cleaning. While I didn’t expect to spend 3 hours at the dentist, I was happy to have everything cared for in one visit. Now about care: I found today's experience very reassuring. I was in capable hands, hands that actually cared. They were smiling and complimenting one another - and even me!("You have very long roots" is now my new brag at parties. ) Dr. Livingston and Stephanie, the hygienist, were thorough, honest, and genuinely friendly, as was the assistant who did all of my X-Rays. (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name, but she was great!) I was very appreciative of their willingness to accommodate my sensitivity, never acting like my discomfort was their inconvenience. The office manager was extremely helpful and patient as she explained the cost of procedures, insurance, and options. No one made me feel pressured or bullied. Bottom line, if you spend an hour + drooling all over yourself and still walk out feeling like it was a fairly pleasant experience, you've found a great office you can trust.
