Dr. Geronemus was incredibly generous with his time, coming into the office specially on a holiday weekend to help me - a new patient visiting Florida for a week, who had never been to this office before. I came in with a lot of pain, and the doctor quickly helped relieve it and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my vacation. He had to use several injections, and I did not feel a thing while he administered them. The entire appointment was painless and extraordinarily helpful. I am very grateful for Dr. Geronemus, and highly recommend him!

TRIED TO TAKE ME FOR $8000 !!! I walked into Richard Geronemus' office and it was beautiful and I was greeted by a lovely receptionist. I was taken back to his office and examined. My issue was that I had to broken fillings that had held for 10 years that needed refilling. The doctor did a series of x-rays, checked my gum levels and did an extra check for throat cancer for $35. I then waited for awhile in the chair for him to come back in and do my fillings. He came in and sat me down and proceeded to do a majorly uncomfortable sales presentation on me. Mr. Geronemus told me that I needed two crowns and the cost would be almost $4000 each!!! Mind you that wasn't for two root canals that was for just two crowns. I asked him why so expensive AND why crowns?! He then proceeded to give me what sounded like a sales pitch that was canned and that he had done 1000 times before on uninformed patients. Apparently $4000 a crown would give me a grinding down of the teeth and a superior workmanship and after all he said "you can see what you have from the fillings that you received" ten years before. I told him no. The doctor then decided to make me even more uncomfortable by doing a second round of sales like I was in the market for a time share. He started writing things down as to why I needed it and what I would get from other sub-standard dentists. I then told him that I was a Physics teacher at a public school and that there is no way that I can afford those type of outrageous fees. Instead of saying that he could give a discount he then told me that there was a way I could pay by opening up a credit card through his office, but not associated with him, that I could pay back in 12 months. After sitting in the chair for an 2 hours I stuck to my guns and told him no which he then told me I have 24 hours to think about otherwise the deal would be done. (fear of loss) I asked his assistant and the receptionist if this was a normal price and if there was anything they could do to intercede to get the price down to which they said there was nothing they could do. I regret asking them. I regret that I stayed so long for the rudimentary sales techniques. I regret feeling that uncomfortable and that mistreated for so long in that chair. I left and found a dentist a few weeks later that gave me one filling and one crown for $1450!!! I researched and found dentists with 100+ positive reviews and made sure about their pricing. I saved $6550 and feel very comfortable with guarantees from the current dentist of the quality of work. I had never received a bill from Richard Geronemus until a few weeks ago for $179.00 for my visit saying that I was 90 days late!!! Where was the original bill? Where was a call seeing if I was feeling ok? This was a surreal experience with a doctor who is supposed to put my health at the forefront of his mind who instead wanted to make his retirement just a bit better with my $8000. Is there a law against an attempted fleecing like this? It is my duty to inform the public that you can get superior dentistry at a reasonable cost without the nervous discomfort that can make you lose faith in humanity.

Dr. Geronimous and his entire staff are first rate! The care is excellent--the most thorough dental exam and best cleaning I have experienced. The location and parking are extremely convenient, the office is very comfortable, and the staff is unbelievably pleasant and professional. I am referring all my friends and family to this wonderful dentist.

I'm new to the area and made a great choice with Galleria Dentistry. Friendly and professional. Most thorough of any dentist I've ever had. Dr. Geronemus and his team are terrific.
