ZERO stars from long time patient

Take my advice - confirm with your dental insurance that the fees you are being charged for dental services here are in fact the appropriate amount. Hill Country Dentists has been mine and my husband's dental provider for several years now. After a recent check up and cleaning, I was given a $2000 treatment plan by the office manager, Jenny. When I raised an eyebrow and said that sounds awfully expensive for the work I need done and can we double check these figures, I didn't realize I would be unleashing 3 months of back and forth nonsense that would eventually go nowhere. My dental insurance has spoken to the office manager and informed her that the fees they are trying to charge me are incorrect. The work I need done should cost no more than $450. Not $2000. That's a $1500 discrepancy that I expect Hill Country Dentists to at least TRY to explain. They are not interested in advocating for their long time patient or concerned getting to the bottom of a $1500 discrepancy.

My teeth feel so nice and clean! The hygienist makes the practice. The business manager is more than fair. I'm confident with the dentist. PS -- if you go in the morning the building shades your car ;)

Front desk never, and I mean never answers calls. Dr. Miller was a good dentist, but he is no longer there.

horrible judgemental customer care. I called for an appointment and the rep just kept concentrating on my accent and not on what i said . She missed most of the things i said. Oh lady please know that all foreign accents are not mexican and austin being tech its a global economy here. focus on the content more and deliver exceptional customer service int he future .

Very professional and fun-loving staff. Dr. Miller is a really cool guy, and the front desk is super nice. Amazing experience!

I copy pasted this from the Yelp Review I just completed, normally I would write something fresh but it was a long review: My experience was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. 1. Carmel contacted me a few days in advance to remind me of my appointment - very nice. 2. I called her back to confirm they accepted my Dental Insurance and she confirmed 100%. 3. When I arrived yesterday for my first appointment and was chatting up the billing person, Eric, I wasn't able to finish my story because they were READY to start my exam. He had offered me some Keurig coffee in their beautiful waiting room. 4. Kyle led me into a consulting room and closed the door. He is my dentist. He asked me questions about my oral hygiene, any concerns or questions then proceeded to give me straight and precise answers to my questions. Afterwards he led me down the hall and introduced me to Stephanie. 5. Stephanie was the head dental assistant and I found her bubbly and present while still very focus and quite articulate about the x-ray and mouth imaging process. She made me feel like I was part of their family right away. 6. Stephanie then led me to the exam room with the cushioned chaise-lounge dental chair for my strawberry flavored polishing. 7. Dentist Kyle returned and did the exam. Afterwards he recommended treatments for various things he found. We discussed each option, the cost, insurance, etc. He answered my questions then left only to be replaced by the billing man, :Eric. 8. Eric had already prepared a spreadsheet for the various treatments that had been recommended including pricing, insurance reduction and percentages and presented it to me on a monitor that was actually attached to the dental chair - very professional and upscale. 9. I picked the treatments I wanted, already knowing what my cost would be and Dentist Kyle and Stephanie returned to complete the treatments. 10. Afterwards Stephanie led me to the front desk again where I paid exactly and only what had already been shown to me on the spreadsheet. I asked some follow up questions for my wife who has greater dental needs than myself and discovered I had been mistranslating the "pre-existing" condition clause enough that instead of having to wait another year, my wife could get some dental work done NOW or at least start the process to get some relief. Thank you Kyle, Stephanie, Carmel and Eric for treating me and my mouth with such respect, courtesy and professionalism. I'm going to recommend you to my larger family that lives nearby.
