Our 7 year old daughter has been attending UMAC in Monroe since the fall of 2016. This has been by far her favorite activity. She's grown tired and unchallenged with other activities. However, 7 months in and she continues to look forward to her tae Kwon do class every time! She has grown more confident with each class and enjoys a strong sense of pride and accomplishment with each belt graduation. My husband and I are so happy with our decision to have her start this program. We can't say enough great things about Master Bender. He runs his classes effectively and each time she comes away with skills she then practices at home. He knows every single students name and warmly greets them when they enter. He's always very friendly with all of the parents too. The messages about confidence, focus, respect are important skills and beliefs that students can carry into all aspects of their school and personal life. If you are considering trying this program, you won't be disappointed! 😊

I started my children in August. Because of the kindness and support shown to them by everyone - teachers & student's alike - I took the plunge myself in Jan. They are having fun teaching me! I am having fun learning! I also appreciate that Master Bender & Instructor Kimmens are happy to work with me with my knee problems. They are helping me get stronger and not injure myself more. Yes, they push me - to succeed, not harm. Thank you all!

I first registered my son Gian when he was 4 years old. He was very shy. I've seen a great change in him in less than a year,he is more confident, focused, determined and best of all he loves it here. Instructors here have great patience and are very knowledgable and kind. I can't wait to start my little one in a couple of years. Price is also very affordable .

Master Bender gave me my first private lesson as an overweight 50 year old woman and convinced me that he, and taekwondo could help me physically and mentally. A year later I am 75 pounds lighter, have made great lifelong friends and am on the path to becoming a black belt. His passion and encouragement are contagious.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about UMAC Monroe and Master Jason Bender. The atmosphere fostered by Master Bender and Senior Instructor Robert Kimmins is unfailingly positive, welcoming, respectful and encouraging, and the wisdom they impart always extends beyond the mat. My three sons and I are yellow belts, and we look forward to continuing our journey toward our black belts at UMAC Monroe. We wouldn't consider training anywhere else.
