Best dentist I could wish for. I know another family who drives in from Barrie every year just to see her for over a decade now. I have gotten my braces, teeth filling and wisdom teeth removal treated from Dr Tong, who has obtained dental degrees from China, Japan and Canada. Every other dentists I have visit said that my K9 teeth was so bad that they had to pull other teath to make space, but Dr Tong gave me braces for only over one year and made everything work. My teeth have stayed in place for over 6 years now. I had all 4 wisdom teeth, and since they all emerged, I just got them pulled by Dr Tong two every year with my university dental plan. Had no swollen after any one of them, and was actually able to perform a concert on stage the day after two of the teeth were pulled. And paid next to nothing with the university insurance coverage. Their hygienist is very nice too, both my wife and I go to them. Best way to book appointments for us is to book a dental visit and a hygienist visit at the same time, then switch, so we will basically have the full clinic to ourselves for 40-60 minutes straight. Just book in advance, highly recommend. They are also very understanding of people who fear the dentists, and will treat people with patience. Obviously everything can be a little chaotic when they get really busy (going on a Saturday afternoon before closing is a bad idea anywhere), so just try to book the not so busy times and it will be the best dental visit anyone can ask for!

We had an unpleasant experience in this dental clinic. After about two minutes brief check, Dr. Tong informed us that she couldn't provide a treatment to my daughter and she would not charge for this visit. A few days later, we received a letter from insurance company indicating that a full examination service fee was claimed against our account. Her receptionist hung up on us when we called for explanation. In the end, they offered partial refund on the charge, however, we still think that they were not honest and consistent with their words and actions.

Dr. Ping Tong and her staff are very professional. We are extremely grateful to have her as our family (3 generations) dentist for over a decade. Dr. Ping Tong is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. We tried other dentists before. But the experiences with Dr. Ping Tong is the best by far.

It’s on the second floor of the central parkway mall, appointments are recommended, I heard that Dr. Tong is professional and offers affordable price as well. And I’m surprised by the wall of certificates, Dr. Tong went to so many places to study! She is very nice and kind, and looks very experienced!

My wife had a cracked tooth and needed a dentist appointment ASAP. Although the first experience with Dr. Tong was just mediocre, we decided to re-visit since they did have an available slot in the following week. The 2nd experience with them was definitely the WORST! Both Dr. Tong and the receptionist were extremely impatient and rude. Since my wife is with child, an x-ray examination has to wait until the baby is born, and before that, we were told that there's really nothing they could do, which is understandable and fine; however, all the follow-up questions on precautionary measures we could take (to prevent it from getting worse) were cut off rudely and treated as if no one could have asked those stupid questions. They definitely expect the patients to have some knowledge in the dental field before visiting.
