Hygienist Sam is a miracle worker! I am one of those super sensitive people that fears the dentist due to a bad experience at another clinic so I avoided going for over 2 years. Hello plaque and tarter build up! As well as unhealthy gums. Thankfully I found The Village Dentist. It has a great, caring, comfortable environment. Sam was able to gently clean my teeth without any pain or discomfort. I don't know how she did it. Is there such thing as bedside manner at the dentist? If there is, she is an angel. She was so professional and kind. Gave me valuable dental care health advice. My gums would always bleed before now they are in amazing shape thanks to her. Please go see her. You will be so happy you did.

I've been a patient here for 12 years. The team is unfailingly pleasant and professional. The office has flexible hours, and offers an email reminder service of appointments which is very helpful (and provides an opportunity for rescheduling if necessary). Very patient and understanding of children who may be nervous about procedures. Very punctual in terms of starting appointments on time. Dr. Kaur takes a real interest in her patients' lives and families and is very involved in the community - to the point of helping with props for a local theatre company. Have recommended this practice far and wide and anticipate being a patient as long as I live here in the neighbourhood.

I hate going to the dentist - it is my most hated thing ever. However, after now being at this dentist for 2.5 years, i can safely say these are the best i have ever been to. Ive had a lot of work done over the last 2.5 years, my teeth were not in great shape. However, i was never made to feel embarrassed or ashamed about it, and they are so kind and caring. The reason for writing this review, is for the 'bonding' Ive had done. Following a horrific experience as a child at a dentist, i didn't go for over 13 years. This resulted in my teeth being uneven and i had many gaps. When bonding was suggested, i wasn't sure, as i didn't know what to expect. It has changed my life. I highly recommend bonding, and the gaps in my teeth are almost all but gone. The photos are from my first session, i have since had more done. You can see the difference in the 'gap' between my two upper teeth. All the staff are friendly, the service is amazing, and i have never been happier with my smile in my life. Best thing of all - All bonding is covered on my dental insurance. Ive probably had well over $10-$15k of work done in the last 2./5 years, and i have paid not a cent for it.

The Village Dentist has time and time again surpassed my expectations in dental care. All the staff are caring and efficient from regular cleanings to the occassional filling. If a procedure is required to maintain healthy teeth and gums it is clearly explained to me before hand along with a straight forward explanation of the cost involved. Along with a providing top shelf routine dental care, The Village Dentist has a variety of additional services to better improve one's smiles, which for me, makes showing off my pearly whites a really joy!

I can't say enough about my how easy my experience was having a crown inserted by Dr Shaw. I was given step by step info throughout the procedure which was very comforting and the end-result was fabulous. My whole mouth feels 100% better than it did previously.
