My kids hate going to the dentist but they LOVE Dr. Jane Gillanders. I hate that they are getting older and will soon outgrow this place and we will need to find an adult dentist as caring and as competent as Jane. Highly recommend you bring your kids here!

My daughter was referred to see Dr. Gillanders about three years ago by our family dentist who doesn't treat children. She had quite a few cavities and I was very concerned because she was only four at the time. They were able to take xrays that our family dentist couldn't and discovered she had six cavities. Our experience was that the dentist was very knowledgeable and focused on my daughter. She made her feel totally comfortable. I wish that I had a dental experience like that when I was young. The dentist explained everything and my daughter never even noticed the "needle". She had laughing gas and it was so helpful. She even likes going to the dentist now. Thanks Dr. Jane

Meh. The women at the desk blatantly watched me lug my stroller down the stairs while they chomped on their sandwiches and laughed with the door wide open. I get inside and they're like, 'new patient?' I say 'yes can I make an appointment?' She looks me up and down, looks at her computer, taps her mouse, looks back at me and says 'we're on lunch can you come back later?' Yeah...no. Totally obnoxious.

Both kids have had nice experiences with Dr Jane. A bit expensive, but worth it in our opinion if it means giving kids a calm dentist experience. Not worth setting them up for failure if they hate the dentist for the rest of their lives.
