This facility is hygenic and tidy. Folks are courteous too, however do beware that they like to get people to pay for an unnecessary 3D scan (which costs $295 and is not covered by insurance). In my case, there was no additional information that they were to get from the 3D scan however, the doctor said that she could not be sure of what the issue was without that scan. The reason this seemed as a pre-planned routine was because they already had my new paperwork with this 3D scan itemized ready for me to sign as soon as the doctor mentioned it and they do this like clockwork so quickly that you do not really get a chance to think it over and challenge their suggestion. I did not even get to see the scan results and the explanation from the doctor after the scan clearly gave me the impression that she had that information from the initial x-ray.

The owner of this practice ruined my mouth. He performed root canals on two lower teeth in 2007, both of them felt fine for a short while, but a silent infection grew over the next few years. My regular dentist sent me to another specialist who told me that the product that Dr. Ortner had used in my treatment was known to be substandard. The infection had grown so large that I had to have both teeth extracted. When you loose two lower molars, it's like loosing 1/2 of your ability to chew, the upper teeth have nothing to bite against. I could not afford $10,000 for new bone and dental implants, so I called this office to ask them why they did not notify me of the fact that my teeth were a ticking time-bomb because of the product Dr. Ortner had stuffed in my roots. They denied that this "resilon" was a problem for their other patients, and that it must have just been my situation. They lied to me! My dentist told me at my last cleaning that a recent scientific study had examined this "resilon" product that Dr. Ortner used in my teeth, and found it to cause failure of root canals something like 5x more frequently than standard material. I find it deplorable that this man has not been honest with me, and probably countless other patients. He even denies scientific facts that are common information to general dentists. I do not recommend anyone get treatment at a clinic this "specialist" operates. If you are like me, having received a treatment by Dr. Ortner with this resilon product, you owe it to yourself to have the teeth examined before the infection ruins your teeth. There are better, more honest choices than this place.

Dr Tina is AWESOME! I had to have a root canal procedure. She and her staff were professional, responsive to my needs and made me feel comfortable with no pain. The office is immaculate and easy to find. I would recommend her to anyone who needs this type of oral surgery. Thank you to Dr Tina and the friendly staff at Pacific Endodontics for taking such good care of me! M Ryan

Excellence experience! All staff was amazing. They won my business and referrals. I have 4 kids, one is a nursing 3 mo old. My whole family came into the office so my husband could keep the baby near me incase baby needed to eat and they were very accommodating and baby and my needs first. Seriously, I was terrified and had a terrible experience the day prior with another endodontist. They still have more work to do on my tooth but I no longer have fear or anxiety and am not worried about my next appointment.
