DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! My finance purchased my engagement ring here last April. It hasn't been a year yet and it's been in for repairs THREE times. Diamonds keep falling out of this terribly made defective product. Each time it happens they apologize and ship it off to head office to have it fixed. They never have any clue when it will be done and even when the website gives your repair an ETA they don't care to meet it. They hardly ever pick up the phone when you call and every time I've been in to have their defective product repaired they have treated me like a child that doesn't know how to wear jewelry. Not to mention, before I can even get it off my finger they are lecturing me about how if it hasn't been inspected every 6 months per the bond record, it voids the warranty. I HADN'T EVEN HAD IT SIX MONTHS before it was repaired TWICE! They are very unprofessional and they simply don't care how long you are without your ring. They don't care how many occasions you have missed showing it off to family and their customer service is horrible. I'm already planning to NOT wear it a month leading up to my wedding for FEAR it will be missing diamonds in pictures.

0 stars if I could. Just before Valentines Day we came in browsing and I was talking to a lovely lady about some 1 carat diamond earrings I was interested in. While I was talking to her my husband wanted to ask another associate to put them on hold without me hearing so he could pick them up later and surprise me. The associate he approached wasnt helping anyone as we were the only people in the store. This 'manager' was too annoyed to help him since it appeared I was already being helped and chose to help another man came in even though my husband just needed a quick word. He was not able to get the style of the ones I liked. About an hour later I was a pleasantly surprised when he pulled up in front of Barry's and told me to go pick out some earrings I like. In the end, we picked out some beautiful 1.5 carat solitaire studs that were even more brilliant than the first pair. Nonetheless my husband was disappointed in himself for not keeping it a surprise and thats why Im writing this review.

I'd give this place a zero if I can but when you have a customer asking you for a sizing and looking for a ring, even if just browsing, you treat them with respect and courtesy, not going to another customer immediately when another one comes in. Worst customer service ever from any jewellery store. Will never come back!

It's sad because we had had great experiences with customer service here before. My fiance bought my engagement ring here last year and we decided to go there for our wedding bands as well. It is now less than 3 weeks until our wedding and being a stressed put bride maybe I just have less tolerance for bs but I was spoken to so rudely that it has made me never want to go back into this store...and this is after spending hundreds of dollars with them. I went in to pick up my band. They had told me before that the cleaning/servicing could be switched so I could get my engagement and wedding band done at the same time...instead of going 4 different times a year. I explained this 5...FIVE times to the woman who was helping me but it was like she wasn't hearing me or something. She passes me the bag and says have a nice day and I'm like...ok so can we do the switch over now so they're all at the same time? To which now she gets it. Turns out my fiance did not give me all the correct paperwork to do it with so I say that's fine I'll take it and bring the other stuff back it must just be in a different spot at home. She says let me just ask someone else. So I'm like it's fine. But she goes and gets someone else. Well apparently it wasn't to help me but to pass me off because her shift was over. So out comes this woman Naureen and she starts asking me all the same questions. I am visibly annoyed at this point after explaining it 5 times to the other lady and I am also in a rush and have already been in the store for 20 minutes to do something that last time took 5 minutes. So I say to her frustrated, "I already told the other woman that my fiance gave me the wrong stuff and I will have to come back at which she stops looks at me and very snidely says, "ma'am I don't know why you're so upset I'm trying to help you and she has to leave to catch a bus or she'll have to wait an hour for another one." I'm flabbergasted at this point almost on the verge of tears because a) Yes I was frustrated by neither of them actually listening to me and b) I was not rude in any way and have worked in retail and customer service and would NEVER speak like that to a customer. And I'm sorry did my spending hundreds get in the way of her catching her bus. How is that my problem? If she had listened to me the first 5 times she would have been out of there on time. I'm sorry that she may miss a bus but that's not my problem. Maybe they shouldn't have people on the floor right up until the end of their shift. Not the customers fault. Anyways Naureen was the one I had a real problem with. She was probably one of the rudest people I've dealt with in customer service. Rolling her eyes and making snide comments when I am clearly upset by their lack of listening. Yes I didn't have all the right stuff with me but I said very clearly to the first woman that it was fine and not to worry about it. Anyways I'm annoyed and dreading going back in there for service on my rings. They took a very exciting outing of picking up my wedding band and made it a very frustrating and angering experience. Will avoid in the future. Especially Naureen.

Just returned home from buying a necklace. I was assisted by an employee named Jen. She should be acknowledged for being extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured and she was accommodating to all my requests. Truly great customer service. An employee like her should be recognized. I will definitely return to People's at Limeridge for future jewelry related purchases.
