I purchased a pair of amethyst silver earrings online to be picked up at their Mission Valley location for my girl. Purchasing was a breeze. They in fact came a few days faster than expected. When I went to go to the store, I was acknowledged pretty quickly even though the store had customers. When it was my turn, I gave the gentleman behind the counter my paperwork where he returned a couple minutes later to show my order. After looking and confirming them, he placed them in a small black velvet case that went inside a secondary small box and then a Kay Jewelers bag. Gentleman was real nice and professional. I was out of there in like 12 minutes. My girl loved the earrings.

Literally PLEASE save yourself the time, money and confusion by AVOIDING this location at all costs. I had the worst customer service experience of my life, and I work in retail so I know exactly what it’s like for both parties on both ends. The employees at this location were uninformed, unprofessional and completely unwelcoming. Not only did they have zero clue as to what their own company policies were, they didn’t care to find out. The only thing they were eager to do was tell me someone else to call, like the banks who do their financing, while lazily shooting each other looks across the store as if a confused PAYING customer was a complete and total nuisance. Every time someone didn’t have an answer as to why my minimum payments are changing as well as my credit limit AND interest rate, they simply shrugged and told me to call the same people who sent me in the store in the first place. I didn’t check the reviews before I purchased from here and now I totally regret it. Won’t be returning.

Staff is extremely unprofessional, and does not understand the concept returns. I was trying to return a movado connect (unworn and unaltered) and the manager would not accept my return by lying to my face and saying that it is in the company policy that they are unable to accept returns for smart watches. When I questioned the manager about his lying he resorted to condescending remarks and verbal diatribes. Will never again do business here. Kay should consider management change at this location.

Low quality of service, helpfulness, kindness. Hard selling tactics, pushy and cheap sales strategy mixed with tackyness. If you don't spend money at that location your screwd out of professionalism. We're a long time Kay jewelers customers since 2006 and we will not do business with this location again. The Asian lady is absolutely horrible unfriendly n lacks common courtesy. Don't hard sale too much you will lose the deal every time. Very aggressive and pushy. Stay away from this location!
