I love ramen and was so excited to find this gem in St catharines. The owner is very nice and explains the menu and helps with any help you have. The portions are quite large and very filling. While I wanted to give 5 stars the first time eatting the food I felt the broth was overly salty, will try again for sure.

I've eaten there twice now. The first time the soup was very good I got the vegetarian and clearly asked them I wanted the vegan option and is there any fish sauce or egg in it and they assured me no. If you're a meat eater like my friend that went with me you will over all enjoy this place. Warning to anybody who wants to eat plant-based: The second time I went there, again I made it clear that I was looking for vegan options. When the bowl came it had rice noodles, which now is almost identical to pho soup. I inquired why I had rice noodles and my friend had the ramen noodles. He told me because the ramen noodles have egg in it! Same guy as the first time I was there. I can attest this was not an issue or a communication on my part as anyone who has eaten plant-based long enough can tell you.... I always have to go through the same process and indentifying everything (it's like My Big Fat Greek Wedding: "he doesn't eat meat", "fine! We will have lamb" LOL). I get that some people may think this is an overreaction, and it's not an allergy thing, but this is important to me as I always clearly ask. The food is good and I will return as it was an honest mistake as the owner explain to me they do have one other type of noodle I could eat the next time I come in.

The ramen was especially good! Very flavorful and not too salty. The chef was friendly and explained the menu and specials.
