This is my second time visiting JOEY's. The first location I visited was at Eaton Centre. Firstly, the service was amazing! The servers were informative and super helpful when it came to options for my allergies (gluten and dairy) and lifestyle (Vegetarian). I had the house-made veggie burger with a gluten free bun and subbed the regular fries for sweet potato fries (first and fourth picture). The veggie patty was flavourful, and held a nutty taste due to the almonds. Texture wise, it held together but easily crumbles once you remove the skewers. If you don't mind a crispy outside and soft center, then you will enjoy this burger. The gluten-free burger bun was outstanding--thick, chewy and not at all dry or crumbly. I also loved the toppings (avocado, tomato, pickle, sprouts). Overall, it's one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. I added pictures of my family's meals as well: hand-pressed beef burger (third picture) and BBQ Salmon Rice Bowl (second picture). *Important note for birthdays: You don't get a free treat and the price I paid for my mom's fist-sized molten chocolate cake was kind of ridiculous ($10). Price-wise it's above average fare for similar meals at other chain-restaurants such as Moxie's and Jack Astor's. Ultimately, I think the price is worth it as it reflects quality and service. Expect to pay between $25-40+ for a meal (including taxes and tip).

Was seated at a random high table in the bar area and was asked to move to the EXACT same table 2ft over because according to the server ‘there is a VIP coming in’ ... honestly it was comical but no one should ever demean another customer. Would’ve have no problem moving and we didn’t have a problem, however much more polite to just say someone specifically requested this table. Anyways we always eat at joeys and the food is amazing and the servers are usually good. I guess now I should always ask “if a VIP is going to move me out of the table” ...

My friend and girlfriend went for drinks and desert and even though we weren’t staying long the service was by far the most amazing I have ever had. Everyone was so nice and attentive. We each ordered the apple pie with maple ice cream and it was the best food I have ever had. Definitely returning for my anniversary!

First time going here for a surprise birthday. Excellent customer service second to none! Very busy so you definitely can't just go and expect to get a seat right away- especially for dinner - must have a reservation. 2 levels. Clean, modern, clean washrooms, excellent food, excellent service... Was very very impressed. Will definitely go back... Only problem was finding parking.

Great for parents with strollers and small children. They had nice booths and large spaces between tables for strollers. The second floor is where they usually place families so you won't feel like you are disturbing other diners. Food is excellent and service is exceptional.
