Very delectable. Started with hot and sour soup that is served in a large bowl to share. Full of flavour. Next we had six pot starters which were scrumptious-Chinese version of pigs in a blanket-pork sausage wrapped in a pastry pocket. Juicy good. House fried rice with shrimp, chicken and beef was delish and shredded pork was a mildly spiced tasty dish. Servers always attentive. Very busy but we got seated right away at 5:40. Glad we came. Really enjoyed our food and service.

Whenever I'm in San Francisco this is a must stop. The food is nothing short of amazing. I recommend any of the soups, dumplings, or noodle dishes. If you like it spicy they can and will deliver. There's a lot of focus that's placed on the spicy Szechuan nature of the restaurant. I've experienced firsthand their ability to prepare exceptional dishes for those with less spicy tastes. I would highly recommend making a reservation with a party of four or more. There can be a wait and sharing a table is an option. I would encourage this! It's a unique way to experience this restaurant.

This place has a lot of hype. The crowds are big so be prepared to wait 30+ minutes. Their signature dish, Exploding Chicken, is tasty but not that special. The orange Peel Beef was soggy. On the other hand, the crispy prawns we delicious. As we’re the snow peas. Definitely highlights of the meal. Worth checking out, but I won’t be back.

Visit, just visit..endure the wait. Look around you, sniff the food and ambiance. It's really not much to look at but the food makes up for that. Spicy (although less spicy then expected) food and lots of choices. When lucky you also get to experience "the man that switches faces" .... Did I say visit? :)

A long wait for good but not stellar food. The staff was very friendly. I would like to have tasted more dishes. We got Chinese spinach and cumin lamb. The spinach was very good and had about 8 cloves of garlic. It needed some spiciness though. The lamb had a wonderful texture but also was safe rather than challenging in terms of seasoning. I would have liked more Szechuan pepper on it. The cucumber salad was so briny it was inedible. After having them remake it “without salt”, it was still salty but very good. Lots of sesame seeds, soy, and other spices.
