Very friendly vibe, staff is very nice: they're happy to welcome you & serve you. My wife had a classic burger with fries, I thought fries were awesome, but she didn't enjoy them. Meat was tasty she said. I had the smoked trout breakfast bagel. I added over easy eggs and a slice of cheddar cheese. It was all very palatable but the reason I rated a 4 was because the bagel itself didn't taste very good. It was room temperature with what seemed a very quick 10 second passing through on the toaster. Other than that, it was all great, will return again for breakfast.

I felt like I was Chef Ramsey in a little kitchen nightmares moment. My husband ordered their Burger which they tout as the California's Best Burger 2013. Well it's time to take that statement off the menu because it isn't even the best burger in town. Nobody wants to hear that you were the best and aren't anymore. My fish and chips were gross. Over-cooked and flavorless. The homemade tartar sauce was flavorless too

What happened to Toomeys? Greasy fish tacos and the 'jumbo' sweet and spicy chicken wings were wing segments slathered in some buffalo sauce. Despite the great portions, food was meh. Not the Toomeys I remember.

I ordered the meatloaf to go. It tasted good but the middle was raw. The menu also said it was $20.50 but my bill was $23.22. Not sure how it go to that. It’s expensive for meatloaf but I was willing to try it with all the good reviews.
