This is a nice mexican restaurant one street south of pearl street on the west end of town. The food was yummy but wish they had a more spicy salsa. We sat out on the rooftop area and it is awesome. You can see great views of boulder from up there. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks

Good: Attentive service. Chips and salsa. We didn't have any alcoholic drinks so we can't comment on that but they did look good. The rice had great texture. Bad: Food has barely any flavor. The nachos have big chunks of meat that can't really be held by the chips. The nacho chips were very soggy and flavorless. The beans taste as if they just opened a can of beans and put them on the plate. The rice had no flavor. The jalapenos tasted cheap.

The polite and attentive staff certainly do know how to make authentic Tex-Mex from scratch. The kitchen is huge, the black beans and rice ,so earthy and tasty. Ala-cart plates are a good way to make your dollar stretch. And the margaritas will remind you why they are consistently voted Boulders Best. Yummy

I LOVE this place. The only reason it isn’t getting 5 stars is because the margarita recipe must have changed and the margaritas now taste like dish soap. Or the dishwasher sucks tonight. Either way, our margaritas aren’t good tonight, unfortunately.

Great food but even better Margarita's. This place is always a good choice for good Mexican and drinks. I also like the 3 limit Margarita after which they will not serve you more. Honestly 2 gets you tipsy so that is more than enough. The steak enchiladas are my absolute favorite there
