Hapa is my favorite place for sushi and Hawaiian fusion. Not only is their sushi THE BEST, if you have someone at dinner who is just not into it there are other delicious options. It is a nice place yet kid friendly. And their hot tea is the best. You will not be disappointed.

Tasty!!!!! Picture attached and its is tempting ♥️ I never tried many sushi places but now i am a fan of this one Active servers but slow chefs I suppose though taste is worth the wait. Heads-up- don’t touch those ginger slices, they taste awful. Just kidding....if u like ginger then go ahead. Must try the sushi and rolls with prawns 🍤 they are delicious 😋 $$ around 15-20$ per person approximately

Good food and friendly service. If you are a casual sushi eater, you will enjoy this place. Good fish paired with tasty roll flavors. The veggie tempura was amazing. Their miso soup had the perfect fermentation. If you are a hardcore sushi buff (think Jiro dreams of sushi), it won't be for you. I came with my young kids and they really accommodated us well. I noticed it's not tagged as family friendly, and the atmosphere/decor may not be tailored to families, but the staff and chefs will certainly make it comfortable and pleasant for families visiting Pearl Street Mall.

Some great and imaginative contemporary sushi rolls. They are big on the baked/sauced rolls... some were a little on the heavy side for my taste but still delicious. Appetizers were pretty good. Nice atmosphere no complaints about the service.

Not for everyone. For those who prefer a more traditional sushi focused on process and high quality ingredients - try something else. For me, Hapa tries too hard. This may not be true for everyone, though. Their rolls are definitely inventive - and some of them are great. But they are definitely not for everyone.
