Mimi (the head chef) offered us a spectacular experience. I had actually not been here prior because it was never very busy, but the staff was exceptionally helpful and encouraged us to go off menu. What a wonderful experience! We had several unique dishes and what started as a quick bite to eat ended up as one of the most enjoyable evenings out I’ve had in Boulder. I’d definitely recommend setting a price point with your server and allowing them to recommend the freshest dishes of the evening. Have an adventure!

This is the place to eat some true quality food for a fair price. Absolutely amazing experience and the hosts will interact with you and make your experience a learning adventure. We were very hungry after a long hike and this place was the perfect end to our night. The food is fresh, the sake top notch quality, and the people are amazing. Also the architecture is a treat. Enjoy!

Great vibe. Wait staff is personable and attentive. They Crack jokes with you and explain any questions with good English. Prices are very reasonable and food is fresh and delicious. Talk to them like people and they will cater to your needs. A+

No, it isn't cheap. Yes, it is fantastic sushi. The specials are particularly amazing. I am picky about sushi, and they always seem to have the tastiest, freshest fish in town. Closed Mondays which is a sign a Colorado sushi joint only serves fresh fish. Fun fact to impress your date with: Kasa means umbrella in Japanese. Look up and the ceiling is covered with them. The only thing I haven't been impressed here is the house lager--it is just too thin for my taste buds. Stick to the Sake!
