Bombay Club is always a good place to have an excellent, delicious, reasonably priced dinner in Washington, on the bottom end of Connecticut Avenue within spitting distance of the White House. This restaurant is always reliable, and is always a first-rate experience. On my most recent visit (probably the tenth in recent years) I started with the crispy kale and went on to the grilled seafood dish, matched with an appropriate selection from Bombay Club's wine list. There is a full bar, by the way. If you are not driving, the restaurant is best reached by the Farragut West or Farragut North metro stations (Red Line or Blue/Green/Silver lines).

My husband is Indian, so we've tried a fair number of Indian places. He and I are in agreement this has been our favorite! The crispy kale appetizer, while maybe not necessarily traditional Indian fare, was divine. Live piano music offered an unexpected touch of class. Will definitely return the next time we're in D.C.!

This is a good restaurant with some nice Indian food. We tried their thali which is a selection of different curries and breads and is a good value for money. Some of their curries were bland but chicken items were specially good. Would visit again and recommend to others.

I've only come here for the buffet brunch and it is delicious. Vegetarian kofta, curried potatoes, chickpeas and lentils, paneer, salad, yogurt, fresh naan - quite the spread of vegetarian dishes here. It's a formal and 'regal' setting (cue the piano player in the background) but there is no real dress code, at least at brunch time. The servers are attentive and kind. Great service and food all around.
